Qore Episode 13: inFAMOUS, Fight Night Round 4 and Frag Dolls

271w ago - PlayStation Network Executive Producer Kevin Furuichi has detailed the Qore Episode 13 features and shared a preview video today.

To quote: As we mentioned in an e-mail to subscribers, we experienced a delay in releasing the final version of Episode 13 and apologize for the inconvenience.

This month marks a milestone for Qore–its first birthday! When the PlayStation Network launched the show a year ago, we were very excited about the opportunity to give gamers a unique glimpse into the world of PlayStation.

We want to thank everyone for their support during this fast and furious year for PlayStation Network's first original production.

Almost inFAMOUS
In Episode 11, we saw how the unique music of inFAMOUS was created. This time, we head to Seattle to visit Sucker Punch, developers of the Sly Cooper franchise, to witness the fascinating way they've created "karma" in their electrifying PS3 debut. We also utilize their development rig to capture the amazing particle effects of the game in super slo-mo.

Best Buy inFamous PS3 Sale: Only $29.99 on June 30 to July 2!

271w ago - Update: It looks like this deal is only going to be running in Canada, but hopefully Best Buy will run a similar deal in the United States.

Word is that one of the biggest electronic retail stores will be selling inFAMOUS at a reduced price of $29.99 for a short period of time real soon... to quote:

Well, I have received word that Best Buy will be selling it for only $29.99 June 30 to July 2, so if you have not picked up your copy yet, I would wait until then to get it half off.

• Uncharted (Nov., 2007) - 32K first week

Get a Custom inFAMOUS PS3 Poster from 7-Eleven Stores

To quote: We're electrifying 7-Eleven stores this month with an inFAMOUS promotion. If you pick up a copy of inFAMOUS and a PlayStation Network giftcard at 7-Eleven, you'll recieve this poster (below) custom designed by Destroy & Rebuild exclusively for inFAMOUS and featured in-game.

Destroy and Rebuild is a Brooklyn based collective centered around four graffiti artists instrumental in inspiring the current generation of street artists. At the heart of the collective is legendary graffiti artist, Mike "2ESAE" Bacca, who was featuring in 2008's groundbreaking documentary, Bomb It. Inside the inFAMOUS Music for the PlayStation 3 Console

274w ago - SCEA Music Manager Jonathan Mayer has shared a glimpse of what takes place inside the inFamous music for Sony's PS3 console, as follows:

I've been playing and writing music for most of my life. I started playing the drums at a very young age and, as a drummer, I think I had a natural aversion to 'electronic' music when I was first turned on to it.

Then one day, about ten years ago, a friend played me a record called 'Permutation' by [Register or Login to view links] and suddenly I could see the light (and hear it, for that matter). Years later, I had the opportunity to put together a bunch of music as a style guide for [Register or Login to view links]'s new game, inFAMOUS.

I did my duty as a loyal fan and peppered the style guide with some of Amon's music, not because it would have worked in the game, but because I thought the folks making the game might have the same visceral reaction to his music that I always did. I never expected that it would actually lead to us working together.
