1000°
118w ago - Following up on his previous updates, today PlayStation Vita homebrew developer wololo has unveiled the title of the next PSP game that VHBL will support on PS Vita to be Super Collapse 3.

To quote from his blog: Insert here random rant for Sony.

Insert here weird explanation on why people should buy the PSP game Super Collapse 3 on their Vita. Implicitly make it clear that this is the next game being used for VHBL. Don’t forget to thank thecobra for his exploit and the port.

Mention that the game is mostly unavailable for the vita in Europe/Asia, but has been so far spotted in the US, UK, Canada, Mexico, Finland, Czech, Sweden, and Poland.

Tell people to wait a bit more for the VHBL files.

Dragon's Crown Update: Atlus Publishing Title for PS3 and PS Vita

250°
119w ago - Atlus Manager of Public Relations and Sales Aram Jabbari has confirmed today that they will be publishing the upcoming video game entitled Dragon's Crown for both PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: You know how you're really excited for something and then something happens and you get even more excited?

Like that time you found out they were making a movie for The Hobbit and you were excited... but kinda bummed that Peter Jackson wouldn't be directing it.

But guess what happened: Peter Jackson announced that he would in fact direct it, and you got a heck of a lot more excited. Right?

Remember Dragon's Crown, the next project from Vanillaware announced at last E3, a multiplayer action RPG with beautiful hand-drawn visuals slated to come to PS3 and PS Vita?

BREAKING NEWS: Atlus is taking over publishing duties in Japan and North America! What's more, key (and very talented) members of the Atlus internal development team will be involved with the project as producer(s).

You know, some of the people who've worked on games in the critically acclaimed Persona series. Yeah, we know: we're stoked, too!

What does this mean for the game? For one, it means that it's going to be better than ever. It will, however, come a bit later than originally...

Video: Resistance: Burning Skies PS Vita Multiplayer Brings the Pain

119w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has made available some new video footage today spotlighting multiplayer action in Resistance: Burning Skies for the PS Vita console.

To quote: If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, come by our community meetup [Register or Login to view links] to go hands-on with Resistance: Burning Skies in a kill-or-be-killed multiplayer tournament!

If it's true that a shooter is only as good as its weapons, Resistance: Burning Skies is shaping up to be a delight indeed.

Take the Mule, a new double-barreled shotgun that dishes out devastating buckshot blasts and launches explosive bolts via its over-barrel crossbow. Or the ever-popular Auger, whose projectiles hungrily chew through walls to seek out warm flesh.

But my favorite gun so far is the lethal Hunter rifle, a long-range Chimeran burst-fire weapon with the ability to deploy an attack drone that you can guide towards your multiplayer foes with taps on the front touchscreen - tres sophisticated!

Playing a series of Wifi multiplayer matches in Resistance: Burning Skies in New York City last week was a valuable reminder that shooting ultra-powerful weapons just feels...
