Starting today, PS3 owners will be able to download an update for God of War Collection and Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection that will enable these classic games to be played from their PS Vita using the Remote Play function.

Video: Free PlayStation Vita App Treasure Park is Out Today

350°
116w ago - Sony European Product Manager Mayumi Donovan has announced that beginning today PS Vita owners can download the free PlayStation Vita Treasure Park application alongside a video of it in action below!

To quote: Hi everyone. I hope you're in the mood to hunt for some hidden gaming booty, because I'm pleased to announce that Treasure Park for PlayStation Vita is out today.

Treasure Park is a fun puzzle app to while away the hours and it's exclusively available for PS Vita. The premise is simple - create your own puzzle sheet and hide your treasure and medals.

Friends will be sniffing around hunting for treasure, so make sure you plant some well-placed bombs to trap them. With the touchscreen it's quick and easy to set up and get going.

Once you've created your puzzle sheet, you can share it with your fellow fortune hunters using the "near" app or find other puzzles to play and collect treasures. The more you play, the better chance you'll have at getting a high score. You can also team up with your friends to earn big scores. See the trailer below for a closer look.

Egg Ball Games: Jazz: Trump's Journey Jives on PS Vita This Winter

116w ago - Egg Ball Games Marketing and Communication Manager Aurelie Gerault has announced today that Jazz: Trump's Journey will jive onto PS Vita this coming Winter!

To quote: It's Aurelie here from [Register or Login to view links] to unveil Jazz: Trump's Journey, our first downloadable PS Vita title, co-produced with [Register or Login to view links].

Supported by the CNC (French National Organism of Cinema) and awarded the 2012 Best Video Game of the Year prize by the French Ministry of Culture, our game immerses the player in the memories of Trump - in his dreams as a young, star-struck jazz musician in love with the lovely Lady Poppy.

Presenting a daring parallel with the real story of jazz legend Louis Armstrong, you'll relive Trump's life, through his quest to form a jazz group, through his love affair and through his battle against injustice in New Orleans in the early 20th century.

We think the original scenario is the main strength of the game - no platformer has dealt with this sort of theme before. Egg Ball's aim was to talk about the creation of jazz and the people responsible.

All of the team here are very fond of Louis Armstrong, his music and his life. They get really inspired by his art and his approach...

117w ago - Muteki Corporation President, CEO and Founder Bryan Sawler has confirmed today that classic RPG love in the form of Dragon Fantasy Book II is coming PS3 and PS Vita next year.

To quote: Building the first [Register or Login to view links] was an amazing experience. And after pouring your heart and soul into a project like that, you can only think "Where do I go from here?".

After we'd really pushed the limits of 8-bit gameplay and graphics with the first game, we knew it was time to bump the game a "generation". This meant being a lot more ambitious with what we wanted to do, and bigger ambitions require bigger support.

So with the support of SCEA's Pub Fund, we're thrilled to announce Dragon Fantasy Book II is headed for PS3 and PS Vita next year on PSN!

Originally, we had planned to follow the original three chapters of 8-bit style with another three chapters in a more 16-bit style. We planned to do a slow and steady progression, chapter by chapter adding more and more features.

But as soon as we started work on the new chapters we quickly found ourselves aiming squarely at the end of that generation immediately. We didn't want to start out simple again as we had already done that. We wanted to make the best RPG...
