78w ago - Criterion Games Community Manager Jeremy Chubb has shared details today alongside some video footage on Need for Speed Most Wanted for the PS3 and PS Vita consoles.

To quote: We've been working hard on Need for Speed Most Wanted, our second Need for Speed game after 2011's Hot Pursuit.

I'm pleased to tell you that we've just put the finishing touches on the game, and we're winding up the online servers to take a beating from you guys come launch day - October 30th.

It's a pretty exciting time for PlayStation fans, and we're really excited to be able to talk not just about the PS3 game, but also our first for PS Vita. If you don't know anything about Most Wanted, here's the deal.

The original Most Wanted was our favorite Need for Speed game. We loved the epic cop chases, hot cars, and most of all that unbeatable sensation of fast, reckless driving while on the run from the law.

So after finishing Hot Pursuit, we set out to create a game that brought you all these great elements, but fresh for 2012 and with a little Criterion DNA running through it. That means it had to be about online, friends and competition, with a Most Wanted twist.

79w ago - Smart As Assistant Producer Nicolo Accordino has posted up two new videos today showcasing Smart As, which hits PS Vita on October 30th, 2012.

To quote: We're launching PS Vita's all-new social brain training game, Smart As, on October 30th in North America.

We've been hard at work loading Smart As with fun and engaging puzzle games to put your mental might to the test with challenges in four key areas: Logic, Arithmetic, Language and Observation.

As we recently announced, Smart As also features the voice talent of Monty Python's John Cleese; so as you train, you'll receive his encouragement and cheeky commentary. Better still, as you play and improve your scores, you'll get to share your stats with Smart As fans from around the world via the online leaderboards, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

Here's a sneak peek at the some of our favorite Logic and Arithmetic challenges.

As you can see in this video, the Logic games are designed to test your ability to solve puzzles as quickly as possible. Inspired by the popular scientific opinion that the brain's frontal lobe is used for executive functions like problem solving, organizing and planning, our goal was to design games that tested...

84w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli has made available an HD video of The Last of Us PS3 PAX Theater Gameplay demo below today.

To quote: Pax Prime was a blast! We were amped to publicly show off our behind-closed-doors gameplay demo of The Last of Us that only a very select few media members saw at E3.

If you weren't able to make it out to Seattle we don't want to leave you out (or leave you watching someone's illicit shaky-cam YouTube video) so here it is:

This demo highlights narrative exploration through interactive prompts, environmental puzzles, the balance of power AI, and some of the dynamic stealth elements you'll be able to use to plan Joel and Ellie's survival.

How many resources are at your disposal? Do you go offensive or defensive? You'll have to keep calm, think, and rely on your partner, Ellie, as you survive and make your way westward.

We can't thank you enough for the reception we've received so far for The Last of Us. At PAX Prime, we had some awesome conversations, saw some amazing things, and met some truly dedicated fans.

You guys and gals make all our hard work that much more rewarding - thank you.
