Hi Everyone: PS3 ROCK BAND DISC EXPORT TITLE UPDATE

First and foremost, we're happy to announce that PS3 users will soon be able to export RB1 songs to their system in advance of the launch of RB2! A PS3 patch will be coming out this Thursday, September 11th, which will allow RB1 song export, in addition to updating DLC to our RB2 standards (so you can continue to rock the newer content in RB1 if you so choose!)

This title update will also patch for the use of the Guitar Hero III Les Paul PS3 Controller with RB1 on the PS3. We're excited to release this, as controller compatibility is something we've been working towards for a long time.

This Rock Band 1 title update is set to come out next Thursday. As with the Xbox 360 Title Update, you will have to update Rock Band in order to play any DLC that is released after Thursday.

PAX PACK
This leads us to the PAX pack which was released yesterday on the PlayStation Store. Due to technical issues with the submission of "Livin on the Corner of Dude and Catastrophe" by MC Frontalot, users who downloaded that track or the entire pack found that they were not able to play this content in the game. Furthermore, downloading the pack meant that all 3 songs...

PSN Cards to Arrive at Blockbuster, 7-Eleven, Rite Aid this September

50°
294w ago - Despite being promised for a "nationwide" rollout last Spring, pre-paid PSN cards are still a scarce commodity. That is, unless you have a Meijer nearby.

Truth be told, many of us don't, so it is reassuring to hear that Sony will be expanding availability of the cards to Blockbuster, 7-Eleven and Rite Aid stores across the continental United States later this September.

This is no doubt good news for those without access to a credit card or debit card account. We just can't fathom why it took them this long though.

To quote: Use your PlayStation®Network card to purchase and download exclusive games, videos and more for your PLAYSTATION®3 and PlayStation® Portable systems!

Visit your local Pamida, Meijer, Blockbuster and Speedway stores to pick up the PSN® card.

Retailers joining in September: Blockbuster, 7-Eleven and Rite Aid

We'll be adding more PLAYSTATION® Network Card retailers soon. Check here for the latest updates.

Press Release:

New Warhawk expansion pack to arrive this April on PLAYSTATION®Network

Operation: Broken Mirror the new Armoured Personnel Carrier rumbles into action on the icebound Vaporfield Glacier

Since the first expansion pack (Operation: Omega Dawn) was released on PLAYSTATION®Network (PSN) last December, Warhawk™ soldiers have been stepping up the attack around the world, battling for domination on the ground and in the air. To fuel the battle and keep morale high, expansion pack Operation: Broken Mirror will launch exclusively on PSN in April, bringing the mighty Armoured Personnel Carrier into the fray as troops battle it out in the seven arenas of the new Vaporfield Glacier.

The Glacier is a new Eucadian stronghold where snowy conditions blanket an intricate network of freeways and towns, the hub of which is the war torn Radial Village. Desperate for an advantage, the Eucadian army has established a research base in the southern polar wastes, far away from the active battle fronts. However, there is a mole in the...
