318w ago - Natural Motion have revealed details about their forthcoming American Football game, Backbreaker.
With stiff competition in the shape of Madden and All Pro Football to contend with, the developers boast that the action is never the same and every hit looks and feels as realistic as it does on the field.
The game will use the same groundbreaking technology featured in Grand Theft Auto IV and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
In perhaps a slight dig at Tiburon's Madden series, Natural Motion also claim that the game will avoid canned animations and repetitious gameplay, and instead focus the game on the powerful mix of technology, biology and a tenacious attitude.
The technology used will use the power of the PS3 to simulate a players nervous system, muscles and biomechanics of the football players, making the game as physically realistic as possible.
Its key selling appoint appears to be that no animation will be repeated and the gameplay won't become stale- we'll just have to wait and see if that's true.
318w ago - In an interview with PALGN, Naughty Dog game designer Evan Wells talked about the Upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive, Uncharted. In the interview, Wells reveals much about the game including its length, quest, and why the game is perfect only for the PS3. Some of the key features revealed are as followed:
- First play-through should last 10-12 hours.
- There will be four levels of difficulty.
- There are 60 little treasures hidden throughout the game to keep the gamer immersed for hours on in, expanding the length of the game's experience.
- Rumble is built right into the game.
"We've also put into the game a medal system, so as you're playing the game if you perform special feats you'll get medals, such as getting a certain number of headshots, getting a certain number of headshots in a row, killing people, doing a special brawl combo, just lots of things along the way that will unlock the medals.
The medals then contribute to your overall medal score and your medal scores then feed into our bonus system which allows all of the unlockables to be unlocked." said Evan Wells.

"I was playing the PS3 build for a few hours tonight and it is really, really fantastic. Amazingly smooth and solid. I think you PS3 users are in for a huge treat with UT3," said Mark Rein.
One of the best features about the PS3 version is the ability to download user maps created via the PlayStation Network. However without the PC version, players will not have access to a level editor, and must wait for PC users to upload their maps.
In addition, Epic Games has confirmed that the PS3 version will support both a keyboard and mouse and the SIXAXIS/DualShock 3 controller.
