PSP Firmware 4.00 Fully Decrypted; 4.00 GEN CFW coming?

326w ago - Thanks to the French guys from PSP-GEN and the team that made 3.93 and 3.95 GEN, they are the first to announce that they have managed to take a look at the new PSP 4.00 firmware's PRX files.

The areas which has been changed includes: Pops popsman, npdrm, np9660, mlnbridge, sysmem, umdcache, sysconf, and video.

Check the whole content out pictured below.

This could mean we'll see a 4.00 GEN before a 4.00 M33 perhaps?

We shall wait for future updates soon..
 

AutoStart PRX v2 Plug-In for M33 CFW for PSP out now!

328w ago - Roe-ur-boat has updated to AutoStart PRX v2 today, a 3.90 M33 compatible Custom Firmware plug-in that allows users to specify a number of separate homebrew applications to load at launch.

Each application can be binded to certain key. When that key is held during bootup, the PSP will automatically load your homebrew. Now at version 2, users can use the Home, Note, and Start button to load homebrew.

- Added more buttons
- Improved the configurator
- Fixed a bug that showed the SCE logo when you exited from a homebrew

328w ago - Roe-ur-boat has released AutoStart PRX, a 3.90 M33 compatible Custom Firmware plug-in that, as the name implies, allows users to specify a list of up to four separate homebrew applications to load at launch.

Each application can be binded to certain keys. When that key is held during bootup, the PSP will automatically load your homebrew. As always, refer to the included readme file for installation and usage instructions.

To quote: Here's a small plug-in I've made that allows you to launch your homebrew at startup. You can configure it to launch up to four different eboots with the included configurator.

For example, by holding cross at start up, you can load one homebrew, while holding triangle will load another. Hope you like it!
 

FuSa v1.0 Build 41 - Fullscreen TV-Out Support for PSP!

330w ago - OldPrisoneR and Andy_maN have updated FuSa, a PSP Custom Firmware Plug-In that enables Slim owners to play PSP games on any television regardless of the input cable used - composite, component, S-video, D-terminal.

Additionally, it features a full screen option which when activated will scale output to the width and height of your television screen, rather than being limited to a resolution of 480p.

Build 41 features the addition of a full screen mode (as mention above), improved UMD compatibility, and a number of bug fixes. The complete changelog can be found below.

HostCore 1.0 Plug-In: Access Media Content From PC on PSP

331w ago - Poison has released a new PSP homebrew utility dubbed "HostCore." Essentially, it creates a virtual bridge between a PC and PSP, allowing users to access media content located on their PC from the PSP.

Fully compatible with Custom Firmware 3.90 M33, the plug-in supports loading music, photos, videos, and games from either WiFi connection or USB.
