PSP JoySens v1.2 For 3.71 M33 Custom Firmware out!

50°
354w ago - Raphael has updated to JoySens for 3.71 M33 CFW. JoySens is a plug-in that, for example, allows PSP users to to tweak the analog stick's sensitivity allowing for more precise movement while playing an FPS.

Download: JoySens v1.2 For 3.71 M33 CFW

From the author: I found time today to update my second PSP to 3.71M33 and test a method for making JoySens 1.2 available under that firmware. For now it seems to work fine, but it is next to untested atm, so I cannot yet guarantee it to work 100%.

At least this should give the 3.71 users something to play with for the time being. I'm currently working (when I find a little time every then and when) on JoySens 1.3 which will provide some new features, like a fix for analog sticks which don't even scale the stick range correctly (getting results < 127 or > -127 even when analog stick is pushed to the extents).

356w ago - Ketchup has updated to Recovery LE, which is a VSH plug-in allowing users to access the recovery menu options on 3.71 M33 via the PSP XMB.

Download: PSP Recovery LE for 3.71 M33 v2

Changelog:

* 3.71 M33 v2 support (it should work on 3.71 M33 v1, but i advise you to use v2)
* Brightness is saved, so when you shut down the PSP, when you put it on, it will put the same brightness
* Autodetection of PSP type:
- PSP Slim
- PSP fat with kernel 1.5
- PSP fat without kernel 1.5
If kernel 1.5 is detected, you can change on the fly the kernel from 1.5 & 3.71, and you can access to GAME150.txt plugin.
* (Fat only) Pandora menu added under Extends (allow you to convert your battery to Normal / autoboot / pandora)
Warning : DO NOT USE SLIM BATTERY (that's why the Pandora Menu will only shows up on a Fat PSP)
* Recovery config change
* bug fix : CPU speed on screen wasn't good; it should be correct
* (PSP Slim) since Dark_AleX's 3.71 M33 v2, DA has added charge via USB, so you can Enable/Disable it under Menu Advanced. However, it is not On the fly, so you need to reboot so the change can be set.

PSP CFW v3.71 M33-2 and 1.50 Kernel Add-on v2 released!

50°
356w ago - Today Dark_AleX released both PSP CFW v3.71 M33-2 and 1.50 Kernel Add-on v2.

Downloads: PSP CFW v3.71 M33-2 / PSP 1.50 Kernel Add-on v2

3.71 M33-2 Changes:

- There was a bug that caused corruption when writing files of more than 32256 bytes using usb flash. The bug has been corrected, and now the implementation is as reliable as it was when it was based on 1.50 kernel. (tested with a full restoration of a dump)

- PSP Slim: a functionality to let the charge of battery when connecting a usb cable has been added. This feature is based on Noobz plugin code. By default is not enabled, you can enable it in recovery. Note that the charge of battery may be delayed some seconds since the moment you plug the cable.

- After installing this update, program at /PSP/GAME/UPDATE will always be executed on 3.71 kernel, despite configuration.

- VSHMenu: vshmenu will not be executed when onscreen keyboard is active, to avoid the lost of the select button function in the keyboard. An option to reset the psp has been added.

- VSH plugins are not longer executed anymore in recovery mode, that was the cause of pseudo-bricks.
