We recognize this and have decided that we can't ask all you LittleBigPlaneteers to fully enjoy the upcoming LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting without an amazing assortment of costumes at your disposal.
So, we're going to let you bring the costumes that you bought for LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 along with you... at no extra cost!
Not only that, but for any new costumes that take your fancy, you will only ever need to purchase the costume once and you'll have access to it across LittleBigPlanet...
69w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Gabriel Graziani has posted up some fresh Gamescom 2012 video trailers today showcasing Naval Battles and AC3 Liberation in Assassin's Creed III for the PS3 entertainment system.
To quote: To celebrate Gamescom in Cologne, Germany this week, we're giving fans an in-depth look at the breathtaking naval combat in Assassin's Creed III! Submerge yourself in our latest trailer below.
Let's get in to what you just saw in that trailer, because there are a ton of little gameplay nuggets hidden inside it.
First off, check out the attention to detail on the crew and their activities on the deck of Connor's ship, the Aquila... we really wanted to convey the buzzing hive of energy that a ship this size requires just to keep it moving, let alone enter combat.
And when the weather gets rough, Connor may need to put his deft Assassin acrobatics to use, climbing around the rigging and ensuring the sails are properly maintained and operational.
Enemy ships aren't the only threat you'll face along the Eastern shores of North America. Fortunately, you'll have deck guns capable of rotating to remove stationary threats like mines, or even some of the smaller ships that threaten the Aquila.
69w ago - SuperBot Entertainment Community Manager Daniel Maniago has officially revealed several new PlayStation All-Stars PS3 videos today at Gamescom 2012 including Dante, Sackboy, Spike, and Ratchet and Clank below!
To quote: Gamescom is finally upon us, and you know what that means: time for some highly anticipated Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale reveals!
We're thrilled to announce the inclusion of Insomniac's Ratchet and Clank in PlayStation All-Stars! Given the wealth of tools and gadgets at their disposal, it made perfect sense to us to include them in our roster.
This duo is strongest at mid-range, and they can cut off many points of entry with varied angles of attack.
We made sure that iconic Ratchet and Clank weapons such as the Combusto Pistol, the R.Y.N.O., and Tesla Spikes are available for players to utilize on the battlefield.
Clank joins in on the fight wielding his powerful Chronoscepter, and even Mr. Zurkon can be summoned to lend a hand!
Also joining the cast is Spike from Sony Computer Entertainment's franchise Ape Escape – a character that was on our radar from early on.
69w ago - Senior Combat Designer Edward Ma at Superbot Entertainment has shared some new PlayStation All-Stars strategy videos today spotlighting Sly Cooper and Fat Princess below.
To quote: We're back this week to share our next two character combat videos for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Today, we're examining strategies for Fat Princess and Sly Cooper with Game Director Omar Kendall.
Fat Princess, much like Sweet Tooth, is a character who has never found herself participating directly in battle, so one of the challenges for us was to design her play style from the ground up.
Her design has gone through radical changes 0 at one point, we had plans for her to grow larger depending on the amount of cake she ate mid-battle. We made sure to follow character guidelines provided by the producer, one of which is the fact that Fat Princess isn't actually aware of her weight.
We incorporated this into her play style by giving her these graceful ballerina pirouette attacks.
Her loyal villagers are, of course, a key weapon in her arsenal. There were a lot of questions raised from the start: should we let her villagers do the fighting while Fat Princess hangs out in the back?
69w ago - SuperBot Entertainment Lead Combat Designer Paul Edwards has posted up a PlayStation All-Stars: Sweet Tooth Strategy video for fans today.
Below are the details, to quote: It's Paul Edwards, Lead Combat Designer at SuperBot. I'm here to shed some light on Sweet Tooth's character design, as we continue our PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale character series.
Sweet Tooth has always been closely associated with vehicular combat, rather than hand-to-hand fighting, so when shaping his playstyle we had to rely on his distinct personality and image.
Fortunately, we had direct input from the talented Twisted Metal team (including the man himself, Twisted Metal creator/game director David Jaffe), and we were able to get a great deal of constructive feedback from them through rigorous playtesting.
We also had early access to the newest iteration of Twisted Metal when it was being developed - we drew inspiration for his level 2 super from the new "Nuke Mode" that was introduced in the game.
Sweet Tooth has always had this sort of campy B-movie feel to him, which led us to thinking we should have him use the PS3 controller as a weapon in his super.
