God of War: Ascension Rises Today, Final Multiplayer Allegiance Revealed

100°
75w ago - Game Director Todd Papy has officially revealed the final multiplayer allegiance for God of War: Ascension which arrives today.

Below are the details, to quote: God of War: Ascension is out in North America today! It represents the culmination of two and a half years of blood, sweat, and tears on behalf of the God of War team at Santa Monica Studio.

We wanted to create the best looking, best playing, most compelling entry in the series to date, a game that took every aspect of the experience to a new level, that sought to show long-time fans a different side of the iconic Kratos character, and that added something entirely new yet addictively deep to the franchise: multiplayer, which many of you joined us in playing and improving during our Beta weeks ago.

We put a great deal of thought and effort into the multiplayer modes you'll discover in Ascension, including the recently revealed 2-player cooperative Trial of the Gods. Supporting this new addition to the God of War universe and the community we're hopeful builds around it for a while to come is of the utmost importance to us.

Looking forward to being among the first to receive access to an exclusive early demo of The Last of Us, included in each retail copy of God of War: Ascension? The new target date upon which that...

Kat and Emmett in PS All-Stars Details, New Level Revealed

50°
89w ago - SuperBot Entertainment Game Director Omar Kendall has shared details today on Kat and Emmett in PS All-Stars alongside a new level reveal below!

To quote: It's been a couple of weeks since Seth let the Kat (and the Emmett!) out of the bag, so I thought I'd stop in and give you guys some insight into the philosophy behind putting these two great characters into PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

The team and I attended an event at the Santa Monica Studios last night where we gave media attendees the first hands-on look at our new DLC, including the unveil of a brand new level, so I wanted to give you all a sneak peek at some of their moves and show off our newest level, Fearless! It's all exciting stuff that I'm eager to tell you all about, so let's get started.

Gravity Rush landed on PlayStation Vita earlier this year, introducing us to Kat. Her tremendous gravity powers, combined with a really charming personality made her an instant fan favorite, and thus an obvious candidate for PlayStation All-Stars.

When looking at Kat's play style in Gravity Rush two things immediately stood out to us: her reliance on aerial mobility and her arsenal of powerful kick-based attacks. We felt it was important to use these two elements as the cornerstone of Kat's play style, and as...
