- Resident Evil 5
- Street Fighter 4
- MotoGP 08
- Lost Planet Extreme Condition Colonel
- Dark Void
- Devil May Cry 4
- Lost Planet Extreme Condition
- Dead Rising
- Bionic Commando
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- 1942: Joint Strike
- Mega Man 9
- Rocketmen: Axis Of Evil
- Age of Booty
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3

A lot of games are there that Capcom announced for the XBox 360 and the PS3, but there are 2 games that Capcom haven't announced for this generation since day one.

Those games are Onimusha and Dino Crisis... has Capcom forgot about those two titles? Well, the last time both of those games where released was on the PS2 and XBox. Does anyone know why they haven't released any info or updates on those two games since?

Capcom: Don't worry about the Shareholder Report Comments

100°
292w ago - This past Thursday, Capcom released a shareholder report. One of the more troubling entities which was identified revolved around mutliplatform and exclusive titles.

"All major titles launched during the next fiscal year or thereafter will be developed as multi-platform games," read the report. However, Capcom is now attempting to partially mitigate the damage that the financial report has caused.

"Relax. I think the materials pretty much speak for themselves and we're continuing to support all consoles with appropriate content," said Capcom's Christian Svnesson.

"It just means things that in the past would have been timed exclusives to a single platform will no longer be exclusive to a single platform. It's just better business decisions at play. I don't think fans have anything to worry about. That said, I know nothing I say will keep people from freaking out, screaming 'the sky is falling, OMG!' So feel free to carry on assuming the worst. I suspect you'll be pleasantly surprised if you do so."

Capcom: We believe PS3 has reached full swing after MGS4 success

50°
294w ago - As part of their Official Q1 Questions and Answers session, Capcom has revealed a belief that the PS3 is in full swing after the success of MGS4.

However, they noted they are not just focusing on PS3 and would like to supply their software evenly across the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

To quote:

Q. Do you feel that PlayStation 3 (PS3) has expanded sufficiently for the release of large-scale titles such as "Resident Evil 5"?

A. We believe that PS3 has finally reached full swing after looking at the success of "Metal Gear Solid 4," as well as future large-scale title lineups. In addition, some reduction in the PS3's price was announced at the 2008 E3, and we can expect its spread to increase by next March when our "Resident Evil 5" for PS3 will be released.

Moreover, as we are not only focusing on PS3, we would also like to spread our supply of software evenly between Wii and Xbox 360 while their markets in the world increase in a similar manner to PS3.

Capcom: No Trophy Support for Devil May Cry 4

50°
302w ago - A poster on Capcom Unity's Forums has received an answer to the question of whether Devil May Cry 4 and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will be getting the trophy treatment and it is no. Capcom feels that DMC4 already has "its own little trophylike system" and the Puzzle Fighter team has moved on to other projects.

There is a tiny bit of good news though, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix may have trophies implemented, but it will depend on "what schedules look like and what Sony's requirements are."

The only real good news is future games from Capcom will all have trophies, as it has "been worked into CEI's developer contracts as a required deliverable." Have other publishers signed such a contract?

This is rather disappointing, but after a string of such reports, we are not surprised. We are just really hoping SSF2T HD Remix will have support.
