50°
104w ago - Director of Production Frank "Bo" DeWindt at Aksys Games has announced that Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward is hitting PS Vita alongside a PSN demo arriving today.

To quote: This is Frank "Bo" deWindt II of [Register or Login to view links], but you can all call me Bo. We have a demo coming today for our upcoming PS Vita title, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward!

For those who aren't already familiar with the Zero Escape series, Virtue's Last Reward is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, which came out in November 2010 and received glowing accolades from IGN, as well as amazing reviews from Destructoid and Nintendo Power, among others.

Virtue's Last Reward is a visual novel-style game with puzzle elements that traps college student Sigma, a mysterious young woman named Phi, and seven other strangers in a game of life and death.

They are forced to take part in a game known as the Nonary Game: Ambidex Edition, which will place their lives on the line as they try to escape and discover the truth about why they're there in the first place.

As a visual novel, Virtue's Last Reward delves heavily into story, characterization, and reading in general. However, this is balanced by the...

Ringzero: Burn The Rope Sizzles Onto PlayStation Vita Next Week

200°
104w ago - Ringzero Game Studio General Manager Franck Blaevoet has announced today that Burn The Rope will be sizzling onto PlayStation Vita next week.

To quote: Hi everyone, I'm Franck from [Register or Login to view links] and I'm happy to announce the release of Burn the Rope for PS Vita on 10th October.

Burn the Rope is an original game where you must burn as much rope as possible at each level. To start burning the rope you simply tap the touch screen wherever there is rope. Once the rope starts burning you can control the flame by rotating the screen.

The flame always burns up and it will burn out if it runs out of rope. The speed at which the flame travels along the rope is determined by the angle of the rope.

You can also control the flame using the touch screen as well as rotating the Vita. You can even use the rear touch panel (so your fingers won't block the view).

You can also pinch on the rear touch pad to zoom in or zoom out the view. This can help if you have really big fingers or are all thumbs J. Oh, it also helps if you want to be more precise in starting the flame.

As you progress through the levels, you will encounter bugs crawling along the rope. Different bugs react differently to the flame, but we are...

Escape Plan: Director's Cut PS Vita DLC Arrives on PSN Today

50°
104w ago - Fun Bits Interactive Team Lead Chris Millar has announced today that the Escape Plan: Director's Cut PS Vita DLC is arriving on PSN today!

To quote: Escape Plan's Director's Cut DLC for PS Vita is out today, with new content for everyone!

Patch 1.04 also goes live with the new direct controls, and we're adding new visual stimulation for you costume fans.

After working on the project for over a year we decided to bring back some of our favorite level designs, and needless to say, we love a challenge!

This is why the Director's Cut pack is filled with the most devious and evil tricks that Bakuki ever conceived. Including the Slap-a-ma-tron 9001, and a butt-ton of mind-bending puzzles.

Continuing tradition, we have added four new costumes to the dressing room. Dress Lil and Laarg in a new spectrum of costumes such as Timeless and Lost Clause, with Halloweeners and I'm with Cupid unlocked by playing through the 21 Director's Cut levels.

We've also added a new poke control to allow the player to stop the selected character with the ease of a button, as well as adding the directional pad to start the character's march. Using your feedback we've done our best to get the game to be yours as much as it is ours. Let us know what you think!

Everyone...
