MENC will help teachers in 51 cities across the nation integrate Wii Music into their curricula, making use of the game's 60-plus instruments and fun array of tutorial exercises in rhythm, tempo and song structure.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DICE, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio (NASDAQ:ERTS), today announced that the critically acclaimed first-person action adventure title, Mirror's Edge™ has shipped for the PC to retailers in North America and will ship worldwide on January 16th.

Players who purchase the PC version of the game will also receive a free copy of the Mirror's Edge remix album. The album features the popular title track "Still Alive" performed by Swedish rock/pop star Lisa Miskovsky and remixes by some of today's hottest artists including Benny Benassi, Paul van Dyk and Armand Van Helden.

DICE also confirmed today that downloadable content (DLC) for the PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system and the PC will be available January 29th. Insomniac: Resistance 2 Patch is Coming for PlayStation 3

289w ago - Insomniac has confirmed that it is working on releasing a patch for Resistance 2 very shortly.

Although they didn't post any specific details, it was more of a general note to address the fans and make it clear that they are listening to complaints.

To quote: After weeks of no comments from Insomniac we have finally gotten an Official announcement on the MyResistance.net boards that Insomniac is indeed working on releasing a patch "very shortly."

Only problem is this announcement was to address the fans and make note that Insomniac is listening to our complaints and contains no further info.

In reply to a members comment, Bryan (IG employee) noted that the technical flaws are very well known and are being addressed, but rather or not those fixes will appear in the coming patch are still up in the air.
 

PS3 And PSP Versions of UNO Coming to PlayStation Network

289w ago - The popular card game UNO is getting PS3 and PSP adaptations, courtesy of GameLoft. The two versions will be available on the PlayStation Store. Both versions will be available some time this year.

To quote: Gameloft, a leading developer and publisher of video games for mobile phones and consoles, announced today a worldwide multi-year licensing agreement to develop, publish and distribute the popular card game, UNO.

In addition to the iPhone and iPod versions currently available, UNO will now also be available across mobile phones, PlayStation 3 Network, PlayStation Portable Network, WiiWare and DSi Ware. The game will be available for these platforms in 2009.

"This agreement is the first step towards a long and successful relationship between Mattel, one of the world's premier toy companies and Gameloft, the global leader in video game development," said Michel Guillemot, president, Gameloft. "UNO is one of the most recognized card games in the world and we are excited to extend it beyond mobile and onto a whole host of console executions."
