Video: Zombie Tycoon Shambles to PSP Minis Today

50°
252w ago - Frima Studio Executive Producer Martin Brouard has announced that Zombie Tycoon will be hitting Sony's PSP Minis today and shared a video.

To quote: Zombies! Aren't they AWESOME? Yeah we think so too.

However, while many games tend to be all about defeating a zombie infestation, we think it's about time that zombies get to feast properly on human brains. Prepare your weapons and sharpen your teeth because you'll be up against the whole humanity and not a single individual should escape!

Zombie Tycoon lets you take 'control' of a hilarious zombie horde in order to achieve complete world domination. Doing so will require a lot brain throwing, building trashing, mascot bashing as well as equipping some of the silliest loot ever conceived.

We are really proud to say that, just in time for Halloween, Zombie Tycoon will be available as a PSP mini title on the PlayStation Network for just $7.99.

Videos: Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time Hits PS3 Today

253w ago - Insomniac Games Community Director Ryan Schneider has revealed that Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time hits PS3 today... and has shared a few videos which include a Community Day recap, as follows:

For those of you who read my last post and were lucky enough to attend our Full Moon Festival this past Friday, I hope it's now safe to say that the Smurfs are no longer the only good thing to come out of October 23 milestones.

About 150 Ratchet & Clank and Insomniac fans joined us from as far away as Michigan (thanks Adam!), Texas (thanks Mitch!) and all over California - some waiting in line starting at 5am – to celebrate today's North American launch of Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

Even Clank himself managed to make an appearance, albeit in the form of talented voice actor David Kaye (who also voices Nathan Hale in the Resistance games).

General Alister Azimuth, aka Joey D'Auria, paid a visit along with G4TV's very own Adam Sessler as part of a "making of A Crack in Time" panel moderated by yours truly. Insomniac founder and CEO Ted Price, gameplay lead Andrew Yount and lead designer Mike Ellis shared their production memories as part of the standing-room only discussion.

Uncharted: Eye of Indra - First Episode on PSN Today

100°
253w ago - Naughty Dog's Lead Game Designer Neil Druckmann has revealed that the first episode of Uncharted: Eye of Indra is hitting PSN today.

To quote: I hope everyone's digging UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves. It's awesome that so many of you are already playing through the single player campaign for the second time, or even multiple times.

For all of you wanting more Nathan Drake, you're in luck - hitting the PSN today is UNCHARTED: Eye of Indra - a four episode Motion Comic - it's an original prequel story to UNCHARTED: Drake's Fortune. We've been working on this baby for the past year and it's been brutal not being able to talk about it.

For those unfamiliar with them, a Motion Comic is essentially an animated comic book - you watch it like a movie. Characters move, there's some 3D effects, and cool panel transitions.

Expect some of your favorite characters and voice-actors from the UNCHARTED universe to show up throughout the story. Other than Nolan North reprising his role as Nathan Drake, I can't announce who else shows up in the story as that'll spoil some of the fun.

We're launching the first episode for free to whet your appetite and the rest of the episodes...

GTA: Chinatown Wars Launches Today for PSP on UMD and PSN

100°
254w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has shared a video and announced that GTA: Chinatown Wars launches today for PSP on UMD and PSN.

To quote: With Grand Theft Auto: China Chinatown Wars hitting for PSP today, Rockstar Games sent along a brand new clip from the game. Like you'd see on any talk show, they also set up the clip; here's Rich Rosado, a RockStar producer.

Hello all! It's pleasure for me to introduce this next clip for the PSP and PSPgo fans reading this out there. We know that a lot of fans have been waiting to finally get their hands on Chinatown Wars and we're thrilled to finally bring an even more refined version of this game to the PSP.

For anyone that hasn't heard anything about Chinatown Wars yet, I can tell you that it brings a unique, arcade-like approach to the series. We really rethought the way a portable GTA experience could work from the ground up. On the PSP, the game includes some exclusive missions, music, re-optimized controls, and an intense high-resolution graphical overhaul that could only be done on this platform.

Some may still not realize this, but Chinatown Wars is actually the biggest portable GTA we've ever done - even bigger than Liberty City Stories or Vice City...

Video: Topatoi Available for PS3 Today on PSN for $9.99

254w ago - Boolat Games PR Manager Natalia Gorbanskaya has announced today that Topatoi is available for PS3 today on PSN for $9.99.

To quote: My name is Natalia, I'm a PR Manager for [Register or Login to view links], a developer based in East Ukraine.

I'd like to announce that the first episode of our puzzle-oriented PlayStation 3/PSN platformer Topatoi finally gets released in North America.

As some of you possibly know, Topatoi (which is basically one of the first East European PSN games) was released in Europe, Asia and Australia earlier this year. Check out the game's official website for more information, including screenshots, in-game videos and trailers. Here's the latest Topatoi trailer embedded here for your convenience:

In short, the core of Topatoi's gameplay is based on the fact that the player controls a small explorer vehicle that works like a spinning top. The spin needs to be controlled carefully, as it affects the device's movement and behavior. The game sticks to the old school traditions of the puzzler platformers (like, say, Bubba 'n' Stix or The Lost Vikings), including emphasis on the original concepts and unique immersive gameplay.

Try it and share your thoughts...
