14w ago - Beatshapers Founder and CEO Alexey Menshikov announced alongside a fresh video that Z-Run is out today on PlayStation Vita.

To quote: Hi everyone. We're very pleased at Beatshapers to announce that Z-Run is out today on PS Vita. We initially announced Z-Run in 2013, but we've spent a lot of time refining the game to provide the best possible experience for the loyal PS Vita fanbase.

Z-Run thrusts you into a world that has fundamentally been overrun by a virus that has mutated people into flesh eating zombies that will do anything for their next meal.

Z-Run includes two game modes including a story and a survival mode, with the story mode seeing your chosen character attempting to escape the city one level at a time, while the survival mode tasks you to hold out for as long as you possibly can against the hordes of zombies with gradually increasing quantities of obstacles and zombies.

Our game features two characters, three unique environments, and twelve deadly weapons. There is a male (Alex) and female (Clair) character that can both be customized and upgraded via points that are earned from the XP and levelling up system, with the points being awarded for successfully completing a level.

To quote: Do you know the Alchemist, Rorona? Maybe you do, maybe you don't. Either way, we're very excited to have you live Rorona's story in the best way possible.

For those familiar with Rorona, new adventures await her and her friends in Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist of Arland, which launches today on PS3 and PS Vita alongside lots of gameplay enhancements and additions.

Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist of Arland was developed with the intention of creating the full experience we would have loved for players to have in the original release, and more.

New character models, new game systems, a new story - these elements have all been revamped using the core fundamentals of the other two titles in the Arland trilogy, Atelier Totori and Atelier Meruru.

We worked hard to preserve the depth of item synthesis/customizations, yet streamline the systems to create an experience that is enjoyable to both Atelier series fans and people discovering the series for the first...

14w ago - Edge of Reality developer Greg John announced that Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is out today on PS4 and PS3 platforms with details below.

To quote: The day has come! Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark launches today on PS4 and PS3, and the Autobots and Decepticons bring their furious war to Earth. In honor of that, we're bringing you a quick list of reasons you should grab a copy of this fast-paced, intense third-person action game - some of which we're revealing for the very first time.

1. New Threats

We've tried to keep a lid on the story of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark as much as possible, but with the game available today, we're excited to talk about some of the ways in which this is more than just an Optimus Prime vs. Megatron story.

As we've said, we're bridging past and present this time around, linking the dark days of the war for Cybertron, as depicted in our previous Transformers titles, with the live-action films of Paramount Pictures and Hasbro, which told the saga on Earth.

If you've seen the Transformers films, you know there's recently been an opening for a leadership position among the Decepticons. A new villain will emerge in the game and in the upcoming film

Transformers: Age of Extinction. He's a mysterious...

14w ago - XDEV Producer Ian Pickles announced that Resogun Heroes is out today featuring a new world, new modes and new PS4 trophies below.

To quote: Hey there PlayStation Nation! Ian Pickles here, Producer at XDEV Studio Europe Back again as promised to give you some information about our new expansion: Resogun Heroes.

For those who missed our recent blog post regarding the free game update, feel free to go catch yourself up and come right back... we'll wait.

So let's get right to it - this is our first major expansion for Resogun, and we've spent a lot of time making sure in terms of playability and enjoyment it's right up there with the main game. We've got a couple of new modes, and it all centers around our new world: Avernus.

Welcome to Avernus

In Greek mythology, Avernus was the gate to The Underworld - not a very nice place. Our own futuristic homage to this mythical gateway is a dark, foreboding planet where the Sentients retreated to after you kicked their asses and saved the last humans.

Avernus is a dark place full of new enemies and the mysterious...

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is Out Today on PS4 and PS3

14w ago - Game and Level Designer Simon Chocquet-Bottani announced that Valiant Hearts: The Great War is out today on PS4 and PS3 platforms with details below.

To quote: Hello, my name is Simon Chocquet-Bottani, Game and Level Designer on Valiant Hearts: The Great War for PS4 and PS3, out today. When we started making Valiant Hearts, we immediately knew what sort of feelings we wanted the game to evoke.

That has been our guiding principle throughout the game development process. We tried to make a game that will captivate you and take you on an emotional journey. We also wanted to make sure we stayed true to history, so we built the basis of our story around real events and real places.

As we were moving through and creating prototypes, we recognized many aspects of the war we wanted to talk about. This brought us to the idea of creating not one, but four main characters, each of them with their own experiences and interpretations of the war.

By switching between the four characters, we're able to tell a story with several cliffhangers, as well as lighten the moments between happiness and sadness as needed. The art style fit this concept perfectly because it allowed us to take people on an emotional adventure where they could be laughing or crying at any period of time.
