To quote: Beyond Good & Evil HD is coming to the PlayStation Network in May 2011. Fans of the 2003 cult classic will be able to relive the adventures of Jade as she uncovers a planet-wide alien conspiracy that is taking over Hillys.

At its time, Beyond Good & Evil was considered one of the top adventure games on the PlayStation 2, and soon you'll be able to play it in HD on your PS3.

With the HD release of the game, you can expect to see the same type of care Michel Ancel and his team has when they designed the original game. Dive deep into the beautiful world of Hillys as Jade encounters different species of animals and enemies.

To quote: "I remember calling it Developers May Cry, it looked that good." God of War III's game director Stig Asmussen confesses in the upcoming God of War Directors Live event, when asked about his art direction days on the original God of War.

Devil May Cry; its headliner, Dante; and the entire DMC mythology have sprung installments on multiple consoles, comic books and an anime series. Dante is an iconic figure in the video game world, so imagine the reaction when Lead Producer Alex Jones and Chief Creative Director Tameem Antoniades were tapped to change everything we know about Devil May Cry and start from scratch. 154w ago - Update: Sony has officially announced the ITV Player will be heading to PS3 today at GamesCom 2010, and will offer new channels including Yahoo 7 (Australia), ITV, Animax and NOS YLE Areena.

Today Made2Game.com (linked above) reports that the ITV Player may be coming to PS3, and ITV are currently in discussions with Sony about the possible launch.

For those unaware, ITV is a public service network of British commercial television broadcasters, set up under the Independent Television Authority (ITA) to provide competition to the BBC.

ITV is the oldest commercial television network in the UK, having begun broadcasting in 1955.

To quote from Telegraph.co.uk:

"ITV is also understood to be in discussions with Sony about launching ITV Player on the PS3 games console, according to the same source. The service would be streamed and advertising supported. It is hoping to launch on this platform also by the beginning of September.

Nintendo's Wii platform will not allow advertising and Microsoft's Xbox does not allow free content as it charges for all web content via its Xbox Live platform."
