188w ago - Today SCEA's PR Manager Eric Levine has unveiled God of War: Ghost of Sparta for Sony's PSP and PSPgo handheld consoles!
To quote: I'm pleased to share some exciting news involving our favorite Spartan warrior. Fresh off his incredible run in God of War III, Kratos will be coming back to PSP and PSPgo in God of War: Ghost of Sparta!
The last time we saw Kratos on the portable platform was in God of War: Chains of Olympus, a game that coupled stunning visuals with stellar gameplay and is still the highest rated PSP title of all-time on Metacritic. So what can you expect this time?
First of all, it's developed by Ready At Dawn Studios, in close collaboration with SCEA's Santa Monica Studio, so we have the same talented team that brought you Chains of Olympus – they know the franchise and know what it takes to create an amazing game.
I can also tell you from first-hand experience that we are pushing the limits of what PSP can do with state-of-the-art visual technologies, higher resolution environments, and greater depths of scale. We're also providing over 25% more gameplay, an improved weapon system, and new magical powers – all enjoyed anytime, anywhere.
Below are a few screens to give you a taste of the action!

Tomorrow, May 4th, will be an onslaught of Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer goodness on the PlayStation Network!
First and foremost, the first downloadable content for Modern Warfare 2 – The Stimulus Package – will hit the PSN Store for $14.99 and bring with it five new maps to the multiplayer of MW2.
Included in those five new maps are two classic Call of Duty 4 maps that we all know and love, and three completely new locations that offer a variety of unique locations for your favorite gametypes. The Stimulus Package includes:
• Bailout - An American apartment complex that is amazing for objective gametypes, especially Capture the Flag, but one of those maps that works well regardless of what type of game you're playing it on. Its long sightlines – like sniping from a blown-out wall of a second-story apartment suite – give it some nice spots for long-range...

189w ago - Recently we reported that Record of Agarest War for PlayStation 3 requires nearly 10GB of PS3 HDD space to install, and today the title's Localization Editor Ben Bateman has shared some videos of the upcoming title in action.
To quote: I have come here today to talk to you about that very game, which is coming to the PlayStation Store this Thursday, April 29.
You may have had a chance to peruse some of our marketing materials regarding Agarest. You haven't? Oh my. Well, in polite company, I would say that they play up the relationship aspect of the game.
To elaborate somewhat, Agarest gives you, the PS3 player, the reasonably unique experience of playing through five generations of fathers and sons.
Your in-game decisions - tactical, moral, and romantic - will determine the abilities and strengths of your offspring, which characters will join your party, and ultimately, the very fate of your world!
But perhaps a dating sim (and genetic simulator) doesn't tickle your fancy. As a strategy role-playing game, Agarest is, in many ways, defined by its battle system. I could use all sorts of large, important words-words like "nuance", or "multifaceted",...
