Video: Sony Catches Up with the Indie 9 Developers from E3 2013

8w ago - Sony Vice President, Developer and Publisher Relations guru Adam Boyes caught up with the Indie 9 developers from E3 2013 today to discuss this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo below.

To quote: With E3 2014 mere days away, I wanted to take a quick trip down memory lane to E3 2013. Back then, I had the incredible pleasure of introducing nine indie developers making PS4 games on-stage during our press conference - probably my proudest moment of the show.

We thought it would be fun to check-in with these nine developers one year later, seeing what it has been like for them to develop on PS4 and work with PlayStation in general.

Hopefully you've been following the development of these nine indie games, as well as the other great indie titles PS4 has to offer. Of the "indie nine," we've seen the launch of Don't Starve, Outlast (and its Whistleblower DLC), Mercenary Kings, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, and most recently Transistor.

Such different game experiences from each other, but each so entertaining in their own right - with Don't Starve I was thoroughly studying the migration and mating patterns of the Beefalo, and don't even get me started about Outlast... Even while playing in broad daylight with...

8w ago - Sony Assistant ISD Producer Tomoyo Kimura announced that their No Heroes Allowed PS Vita special events start this Friday with details below!

To quote: Hello, everyone! [Register or Login to view links], the free-to-play puzzle game for PS Vita, is introducing our first online special event this Friday.

It's been about eight weeks since the launch of No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either. By now, you've probably defeated hundreds of heroes and your Badman's Lair is full of treasure. Well, it's time to show off your evil power and compete with other Gods of Destruction!

Over the next few months, special event dungeons will be unearthed, wherein players can battle against each other to see who reigns supreme. And the best news: the first event will start this Friday, June 6th.

In this unique online event, you'll be fighting against brand new heroes that never appear in normal dungeons. The top ranked players will receive big rewards, including special titles and rare monsters. But don't worry, regardless of how well you do, all event participants will receive monsters to add to their Monsterpedias.

New Sony PlayStation and PSN Game Updates for June 3, 2014

50°
8w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements is here with this weeks new PlayStation and PSN game updates below, as follows:

Amidst the sound of shattered glass, Detective Ronan O'Connor falls to his death, his body crumpled on the pavement below the broken window. But this is only the beginning of his story in [Register or Login to view links], which launches on PS4 and PS3 this week.

In Murdered: Soul Suspect, players take control of Ronan - a troubled detective with a messy past - moments after his own murder.

Now as his spirit wanders through the purgatorial world of the Dusk, players must help Ronan harness his newfound supernatural abilities and solve the mystery behind his own untimely demise. But the town of Salem has a dark history as well, and answering Ronan's questions won't be easy - especially with hungry demons prowling the afterlife.

Murdered isn't the only big new game on the block, however. War Thunder is also launching on PS4 this week, and PlayStation Vita Pets is coming to Vita for a more light-hearted gaming experience. You can never have too many puppies.

For a complete list of games coming to PlayStation on Tuesday, read on. And enjoy...
