Rumor: LittleBigPlanet 2 on PS3 with PlayStation Move Support?

200°
227w ago - During a recent [Register or Login to view links], Sony Benelux brand manager Folkert Langeveld inadvertently revealed that LittleBigPlanet 2 is coming to PS3 and will feature PlayStation Move support.

However, Sackboy is still at the forefront of Sony's marketing with the knitted character appearing in a front page advert (below) today for the Bravia line of Internet TV's.

To quote: "Unaware that the title had not been officially announced yet, Langeveld let slip in an interview with Dutch site Tweakers that LittleBigPlanet 2 will utilize the new PlayStation Move controller.

To what extent, is unknown at this point. With its mass market appeal, LBP is a franchise that clearly has potential to serve as a conduit to drive sales of Move."

Finally, some may recall that during their recent GDC 2010 press conference Sony demoed a LittleBigPlanet build with Move support using the controller to pick up and glide objects across the screen.

Hopefully further LBP2 details will surface at the upcoming E3 Expo which runs from June 15-17, 2010.

Rumor: MotorStorm 3 in Development, Playable PS3 Demo Leaked

200°
227w ago - Today tzare of [Register or Login to view links] has leaked a picture (below) of what appears to be a playable PS3 demo for MotorStorm 3 in development.

It wasn't long ago that MotorStorm 3 rumors first circulated when it was discovered that the URL address MotorStorm3.com redirected you to Sony's Web site, meaning MotorStorm fans now have another piece of evidence that it's currently being worked on.

In the picture, it appears as if an unknown PSN user is running a playable version of MotorStorm 3. Although the title of the game is missing a subtitle (Pacific Rift, Arctic Edge, etc.), many feel it is indeed legitimate.

To quote: "MotorStorm 3 is a possibility although it hasn't been officially announced by Sony. An E3 unveiling is possible but who knows maybe the game will be announced before E3."

Rumor: New Gran Turismo 5 PS3 Demo Incoming on PSN?

200°
227w ago - According to [Register or Login to view links] user lherre, a new Gran Turismo 5 PS3 demo is rumored to be on PSN, but unfortunately for GT5 fans it's not currently available to the public audience.

To quote: "This member has impeccable credibility and this demo is definitely available on PSN, though it may only be available for a select group of people at the current time.

lherre later states that this demo may be used for media events only, but that is speculation on his part, as of now.

With this demo uploaded on PSN, could we be seeing a new GT5 demo in the relative future? Let's hope so since we haven't had a new demo since last Fall when we had the Time Trial demo, which gave us small tidbit of what to expect in the full release."

Finally, a release date for the title is slated as 2010, so the wait for a full release is still unknown.

Rumor: ESRB Reveals Delta Force: Urban Warfare Heads to PSN

50°
227w ago - The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) have recently rated a shooter named Delta Force: Urban Warfare, originally released for the PlayStation 2 and PSOne back in 2002, for the PS3 and PSP which means it's likely to be heading to PSN.

For those unaware, Delta Force: Urban Warfare was first created by Alien vs Predator developer Rebellion.

To quote: "Last week we brought you the news that a PlayStation 2 title could make a triumphant comeback to the PS3 next year, but Delta Force: Urban Warfare is more likely to release in the coming months on the PlayStation Network.

As it's still unannounced for PSN though, we'll nudge Sony for comment."

Rumor: XBox 360 Slim Model with Valhalla Chipset Uncovered?

650°
228w ago - Kotaku is reporting on what appears to be a rumored XBox 360 slim model featuring a Valhalla chipset today.

Speculation is currently underway as to whether the [Register or Login to view links] of the picture is a legitimate Chinese leak ala PS3 Slim, or a hoax.

To quote: "These pictures apparently show the guts of a new model of the Xbox 360. The important bits? The fact that for the first time the console combines the CPU and the GPU in a single chip. Oh, and it's small.

The pic shows the board in question, with the chip part of a rumoured redesign for the Xbox 360 console, testing of which has recently been completed in China.

This isn't simply a new board for the existing hardware, either; it's reportedly a total redesign of the console. Think the PS3 Slim, only... for an Xbox 360.

Now, considering the source, there's every reason to be sceptical of the images, and the info. Then again, with Natal due later this year, rebooting the 360 itself to go along with it would make a lot of sense, especially if a reduction in size could come with a reduction in cost."
