84w ago - Following up on his previous release, today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer condorstrike has shared a video preview of a PS3 homebrew game he's working on entitled Pointman below.

From his blog, to quote: Hi guys, here’s a preview of my PS3 Homebrew game “Pointman the Akkadian wars”

It is still in development and this video is more of a teaser, since every time I give myself an ETA I keep adding new stuff and keep delaying the release.

The video is of the main menu and story intro, no gameplay (WIP) hope you like it. caw!

Install Package Homebrew v1.3 for PS3 CFW By Deroad is Released

85w ago - Following up on his previous release, this weekend PlayStation 3 developer deroad has updated his Install Package Homebrew application to v1.3 followed by v1.3b for PS3 CFW users with details below.

To quote from his blog on the changes: I have fixed a bug on this homebrew. now this tool is perfect (I hope).

My git was updated to this version (1.3) and on the 25th of December there will be a Christmas release.

Update: I have updated the version to 1.3b (the download link will be the same) I noticed before that i could make it install infinite pkg, and now it does.


 

RIF2RAP PS3 Homebrew App, Export RAP Files Without Downgrading

85w ago - Following up on RenPKG and RAP2RIF, PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Eslab has now made available RIF2RAP which no longer requires users to downgrade their PS3 console to 3.55 to export the RAP files.

With this application, it is now possible to convert RIF files on the PlayStation 3 console to RAP files.

From mikufans: Hello, recently my friend released a tool: rif2rap. It does help those who want to share the rap. And there is no need to downgrade the PS3 concole to 3.55 to export the rap. Just run this rif2rap.exe, and get the rap.

Tested OK by some of my friends. The Tutorial is so easy that no need to explain here.
