Sony European PSN Game Store Updates for March 21, 2012

100°
144w ago - Today Sony's Jawad Ashraf of the PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PSN Game Store updates outlined below, as follows:

Welcome to this week's PlayStation Store update.

For PlayStation 3 This week will see Assassin's Creed Revelations' release on the store (on Friday). Until Monday the 26th, you'll be able to get it at a discounted rate, so grab it before it sneaks back to full price.

If you haven't had your chance to start at the beginning of the series (like me!) then the Assassin's Creed Double Edition bundle will serve you well. The bundle will give you the first two games, letting you experience the series where it all began.

Also, after a bit of a wait we now have some Resident Evil avatars that y'all can snap up. There is a selection of characters from both Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica to choose from.

So, that's it for today. Short and sweet!

144w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Rey Gutierrez is here with the new PS3, PS Vita and PSN releases for the upcoming week today, as follows:

For gamers of my generation, Silent Hill 2 for PS2 stands as a giant in the survival-horror genre. Sadly, I completely missed out on the Silent Hill phenomenon.

But thanks to the advancements of modern PS3 and PSN technology, I can now experience both Silent Hill 2 and 3 in glorious HD this week with the release of the Silent Hill HD Collection.

And speaking of classics, Ninja Gaiden 3 joins the fray this week with a new story, PlayStation Move-enhanced gameplay and new multiplayer modes. Shooter fans should take note of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which delivers a third-person team-based action set within the dark and sinister Resident Evil universe. Enjoy this week's The Drop.

Video: Closure: PSN's Next Innovator Arrives on March 27, 2012

145w ago - Eyebrow Interactive Lead Designer & Programmer Tyler Glaiel has announced today alongside a video trailer that Closure, PSN's next innovator, will be officially arriving on March 27, 2012!

To quote: I know we're all heavily enjoying Journey right now (it's amazing), but don't shut off your PS3 when you're done with it because another awesome game, Closure, is coming out at the end of the month.

We just finished our launch trailer, which you can watch below right now!

Just for recap, Closure is a puzzle platformer based around manipulating lights to phase objects in and out of reality. The core gameplay premise is: If you can't see it, it doesn't exist.

It's a simple enough concept to understand, but the puzzles are anything but. A team of three (myself, artist Jon Schubbe, musician Christopher Rhyne) have spent three years working on Closure, designing nearly 100 unique and challenging puzzles spread across a variety of dark and eerie settings including a decrepit factory, a murky forest, an abandoned carnival, and a few other locales that I'll leave as a surprise.

Closure is not just about its setting and atmosphere, though. There is a heavy focus on the puzzles themselves,...
