266w ago - Today Aaron Webber, the Assistant Community Manager at Sega of America, has announced that Valkyria Chronicles II is coming to the Sony PSP next summer.

To quote: As of today, SEGA is proud to announce Valkyria Chronicles II - the sequel to the legendary PS3 epic - is coming to the West exclusively on the PSP! Join the battle once more in the next addition to the Valkyria franchise - created by the same team behind the original.

The year is 1937 EC. Two years later, the ashes of the Second Europan war still glow in Gallia's history. But even peace is a fragile happiness - and hearts that once fought side by side are not forever friends.

In the midst of this peace appears a group known as the Gallian Revolutionary Army, swearing to topple the current government - in a lightning fast coup, they arm themselves with the best of both Gallian technology and soldiers.

What was once a small but strong unified country is instantly plunged back onto the battlefield. But the day and age of the last war's heroes is already fading out - with families to protect and children to raise, they are the ones who must now be protected. While numbers split and tensions rise, the spotlight shines to a handful...

While the Web sites you a led to are still of unknown purpose, we should be able to find the answer to these teasers at TGS on September 17th, 2009.

To quote: "There is not much on the teaser page other than a strange smiley face. Clicking on it multiple times will open his mouth. He will eventually let out a scream and you will be redirected to random web sites that might somehow be connected to the game.

It looks like the project will be revealed on September 17th."

267w ago - A few weeks back we broke the news of the PS3 250GB Slim model CECH-2000B being uncovered at the FCC Site.

Today Eurogamer (linked above) reports that a 'trusted retail source' let them know it will indeed arrive as early as October, as part of three console-plus-game bundles.

To quote: "Unlike Spain, the UK will combine either Assassin's Creed II, Gran Turismo 5 or Uncharted 2 with the 250GB PS3 Slim. And each bundle will cost £299.99.

Sony has not backed this up in writing, which is why our source wished to remain anonymous.

Although the bundle will arrive in October, perhaps only Uncharted II - released on 23rd October - will appear then. Assassin's Creed is due on 20th Novmember, and Sony has only officially narrowed the date for GT5 to Q4 2009."
