177w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has posted up a new video today on the PSN exclusive title Scott Pilgrim vs The World for Comic-Con 2010.
To quote: I really enjoyed Scott Pilgrim vs The World when I played it at E3, despite having zero knowledge of the source material.
Now that I've read the first 5 Scott Pilgrim books in record time (and will be picking up the 6th and final one today), I'm in full on "DO WANT" mode.
Fortunately, we'll be featuring the latest build of the game at our Comic-Con event on Thursday (invites just went out for that, btw - check your email). And Scott Pilgrim vs The World's (PSN-exclusive) debut isn't that far off, either - August 10th.
In the meantime, and just in time for Comic-Con, take a look at the latest trailer.
We'll have more on Scott Pilgrim vs The World shortly after Comic-Con.
I didn't know much of the Edgar Wright-directed, Michael Cera-starring movie hitting later this summer. I had never read any of the comics by Bryan Lee O'Malley (though I'm rectifying that now).
All I know is, I played a game that took me back to my gaming childhood: 8-bit beat'em ups with brightly colored sprites, old-school music, and couch co-op.
The key thing to note: Scott Pilgrim vs The World is debuting exclusively on PlayStation Network, and that you'll be playing it in just about a month: August 10th.
You'll be seeing a lot more about Scott Pilgrim vs The World here on the PlayStation.Blog in the coming weeks, including updates from Comic-Con and a post directly from Anamanaguchi, the famed chiptune band who behind the game's sountrack.

181w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has announced today that Guinness World Records has recognized PlayStation accomplishments!
For those unaware, Guinness Breweries started the Book of World Records to settle pub arguments over the biggest, fastest, and best milestones in the world.
To quote: Guinness World Records now not only publishes the book that you probably own, but also annually produces the Gamer's Edition; a records book devoted games and gaming-related achievements (high scores, etc).
That brings us to E3 2010, where the Guinness folks dropped by our booth to recognize a trio of PlayStation milestones.
Scott Rohde, Vice President of Worldwide Studios, North America, accepted records for LittleBigPlanet with the Most User-generated Levels (2,463,073), UNCHARTED 2 as the Best Selling PS3 platform game and MAG for the Most Players in a Console FPS with 256.
Although we're the recipients of the plaques, none of these records could've been set without you, the PlayStation gamer. It's you who made the levels in LBP, you who bought UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves by the million, and you...
