94w ago - Gaijin Games Co-Founder Mike Roush has shared a video today showcasing the Bit Trip presentation of Runner2: CommanderVideo's PlayStation debut below!

To quote: Being a small developer like [Register or Login to view links] can sometimes force us to take things a bit more slowly, and this is why we are both apologizing for taking so long to start making games for PlayStation 3, and why we're hoping you'll welcome us with big ol' greasy hugs when we get there. You see, we have something very special with Runner2, and we're incredibly excited to share it with you on PSN on March 5th.

Also, if you're brave and keep reading, you might find a little nugget of gold at the end of this blog post...

The Magic of Runner2

While working on the original BIT.TRIP series, we knew we had something special, and we loved making those six games. But it wasn't until all was said and done and we had time to reflect on the mess we'd made when we realized that BIT.TRIP RUNNER was one of the funnest projects we'd ever worked on, and as we contemplated our next steps, we looked at each other and thought, "You know, I bet we could murder peoples' fun-glands with a sequel to this beaut."

To quote: Hi Everyone! It's a special day at PlayStation, and I hope all of you had a chance to watch the livestream of PlayStation Meeting 2013 in New York, where we just unveiled PlayStation 4.

One of the most exciting components of our next-generation platform is DUALSHOCK 4, the new wireless controller that combines with PlayStation 4 to deliver new gameplay experiences that have never been possible before.

Sony Unveils OMG Zombies: The Final Weekly Free PS Mobile Game

50°
95w ago - Sony Director of Emerging Platforms Chris Mahoney has announced that OMG Zombies is the final weekly free PS Mobile game available today!

Below are the details, to quote: It seems people can't get enough of the undead. [Register or Login to view links]'s OMG Zombies – the last of our six free PS Mobile games - casts you as the sole survivor of a police team that has been attacked by (you guessed it) zombies. Your mission: tear through hordes of zombies across a maze of levels, and escape the city.

Your progress in this game depends on the amount of chained combos you get from killing zombies. This game is an upgraded version of the OMG-Z game that was released by Laughing Jackal as a PS mini back in 2011.

There are weapon upgrades, branching levels, rewards, and various zombie types to encounter. This game is the easiest - and safest - way to take out zombies.

PS Vita owners will be able to download OMG Zombies for free on the PlayStation Mobile section of PlayStation Store.

Owners of PlayStation-certified devices (see full list here) can obtain it through the PlayStation Mobile Store - [Register or Login to view links] for full instructions.

We hope you enjoyed our six weeks of free PlayStation...
