Warhawk to support Trophy System, some Retroactive

50°
338w ago - Dylan Jobe has confirmed that the team is excited about integrating trophies into Warhawk for new awards as well as some awards that players may have achieved before the update.

In addition to this, Jobe commented that some but not all of the trophies in Warhawk will be retroactive.

To quote: We contacted Dylan Jobe, producer/director at Incog. Inc., to find out exactly what was going on with the Trophy scheme and got the following statement from him: "We're excited about integrating Trophies into Warhawk for both new awards as well as some awards that players may have already achieved (prior to the update) like rank, combat badges and medals.

As a result of our approach, and to clarify some of the confusion on the Net, some - not all - of the Trophies in Warhawk will be retroactive."

Tipsters pour in with PS3 Trophy Screens and In-game XMB info

200°
340w ago - From PS3FanBoy, linked above: A short while ago a tipster leaked a PS3 trophy screen, while the validity of it was doubted, another tipster came into the frame to say what was posted is indeed real.

He sent along a new picture of one of the other pages too which are called gamer card and compare, and your gamer card will feature a trophy total and level.

To quote: Another tipster, calling himself "Gassy Snake," claims that he is a game developer who can vouch for The Patriots. He claims that the above image is real and, to prove it, proceeded to send us a picture of one of the other pages. These pages are called "gamer card" and "compare."

As you can see below, your gamer card will feature a trophy total and a "level." How you progress up these levels is anyone's guess, but there also seems to be some room for extra information of some kind.

He responded with that the game will run in 720p at 30 frames per second. Just so you know here is the full question and answer.

"ps3owner asks: What is the resolution and the framerate of the game?

Ted Price: 720p, 30fps."

At least we now know that Resistance 2 will be running in a HD resolution.

PixelJunk Eden featuring Trophy support

50°
345w ago - Several of PixelJunk Eden's details are on display over at the official PlayStation Web site. This is cool since we know very little about the game other than its artsy approach.

The game will feature 3-player co-op and will get a release this summer, but that's not exactly the most interesting ingredient in this pie. What we find most delicious is the listing of "Trophy support" -- an element being utilized in Home.

Anyway, the rest of the information is gameplay-related that we've mentioned before: swing around, collect pollen, advance.
