165w ago - Today a rumor is circulating the Internet which suggests that the next installment of ManHunt, specifically ManHunt 3, will be a PS3 exclusive title and the game will utilize Sony's recently announced PlayStation Move.
The rumor originated from a trusted source at GoFanboy.com (linked above), and along with PlayStation 3 exclusivity it claims ManHunt 3 will be one of the big rumored E3 announcements this year and take advantage of the PS3 Move motion controller.
To quote: "There have been murmurs about ManHunt 3 since the highly controversial release of ManHunt 2 for the Wii and PS2.
From what we're being told, the game will be PS3 exclusive and utilize the PlayStation 3's upcoming Move add-on. It definitely makes sense since the PS3 would be a perfect fit for the ManHunt sequel."
165w ago - During a recent interview, Sony Benelux brand manager Folkert Langeveld inadvertently revealed that LittleBigPlanet 2 is coming to PS3 and will feature PlayStation Move support.
However, Sackboy is still at the forefront of Sony's marketing with the knitted character appearing in a front page advert (below) today for the Bravia line of Internet TV's.
To quote: "Unaware that the title had not been officially announced yet, Langeveld let slip in an interview with Dutch site Tweakers that LittleBigPlanet 2 will utilize the new PlayStation Move controller.
To what extent, is unknown at this point. With its mass market appeal, LBP is a franchise that clearly has potential to serve as a conduit to drive sales of Move."
Finally, some may recall that during their recent GDC 2010 press conference Sony demoed a LittleBigPlanet build with Move support using the controller to pick up and glide objects across the screen.
Hopefully further LBP2 details will surface at the upcoming E3 Expo which runs from June 15-17, 2010.
165w ago - Today tzare of has leaked a picture (below) of what appears to be a playable PS3 demo for MotorStorm 3 in development.
It wasn't long ago that MotorStorm 3 rumors first circulated when it was discovered that the URL address MotorStorm3.com redirected you to Sony's Web site, meaning MotorStorm fans now have another piece of evidence that it's currently being worked on.
In the picture, it appears as if an unknown PSN user is running a playable version of MotorStorm 3. Although the title of the game is missing a subtitle (Pacific Rift, Arctic Edge, etc.), many feel it is indeed legitimate.
To quote: "MotorStorm 3 is a possibility although it hasn't been officially announced by Sony. An E3 unveiling is possible but who knows maybe the game will be announced before E3."
165w ago - According to NeoGAF user lherre, a new Gran Turismo 5 PS3 demo is rumored to be on PSN, but unfortunately for GT5 fans it's not currently available to the public audience.
To quote: "This member has impeccable credibility and this demo is definitely available on PSN, though it may only be available for a select group of people at the current time.
lherre later states that this demo may be used for media events only, but that is speculation on his part, as of now.
With this demo uploaded on PSN, could we be seeing a new GT5 demo in the relative future? Let's hope so since we haven't had a new demo since last Fall when we had the Time Trial demo, which gave us small tidbit of what to expect in the full release."
Finally, a release date for the title is slated as 2010, so the wait for a full release is still unknown.
165w ago - The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) have recently rated a shooter named Delta Force: Urban Warfare, originally released for the PlayStation 2 and PSOne back in 2002, for the PS3 and PSP which means it's likely to be heading to PSN.
For those unaware, Delta Force: Urban Warfare was first created by Alien vs Predator developer Rebellion.
To quote: "Last week we brought you the news that a PlayStation 2 title could make a triumphant comeback to the PS3 next year, but Delta Force: Urban Warfare is more likely to release in the coming months on the PlayStation Network.
As it's still unannounced for PSN though, we'll nudge Sony for comment."
