We began work on Mass Effect Trilogy in earnest last April, shortly after Mass Effect 3 had shipped. The trilogy was complete, but there was a slight complication - there were people who had missed out on one (or more) titles in the series. Clearly this included PS3 owners, who had never had the chance to play the original Mass Effect. Mass Effect Trilogy was a great opportunity to rectify that!

We partnered with [Register or Login to view links], an external team with whom we've worked on many previous projects. Edge of Reality has a deep understanding of how PS3 works, under the hood, so we thought the project would be a perfect fit.

We had a huge head start because of the work we had done with Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 for PS3, but we still wanted to maintain the look and feel - the classic experience - of the original Mass Effect.

88w ago - UFO Interactive Games Producer Andrew Wang has shared a video today announcing that Eliminage Original brings deep RPG customization to PSP today.

To quote: I think RPG gamers need no introduction to the concept of customization. In Elminage Original, the customization options are... abundant, to say the least.

There are 12 character races and 16 classes to choose from, so players will be able to tailor their party to suit their specific play styles.

Elminage Original is a dungeon-crawling RPG, and it doesn't try to hide it. It doesn't waste time hand-holding, and it lets you jump into the action very quickly if you so choose.

Parties are formed in groups of six, so whether you think you'll do better with Humans, Fairies, Werebeasts, or Magic Dolls, you can rest assured that there are plenty of combinations to try!

Customization is a big reason why I love RPG's. When I start to play a new RPG, I tend to get caught up when I'm allowed an unlimited amount of time to grind and discover new tactics, and I spend way too many hours doing so. I'm sure that some of you reading this know exactly what I am talking about.

In the case of Elminage Original, I even spent time customizing my entire party to make sure that they all had matching themed portraits....

In the earliest stages of development, the game was called Brothers. Looking back at that now, it means a lot more than I thought it did.

My fondest memories of games are those that I played together with my brother or close friends. It has always surprised me how few games are really designed around two-player interaction.

With ibb and obb we've tried to do just that. The gameplay revolves around a world with two directions of gravity, but even more so it's about the interaction between the players.

All elements in the game are designed for two, ranging from the way you solve puzzles to handling enemies. For example, when one player takes out an enemy the other tries to be ready on the other side of the split to fetch the reward.





In the game you explore five worlds consisting of three levels each. Visually, the mood starts out very colorful and adventurous, slowly changing...
