110w ago - SingStar Back To The 80s, a PS3 3.72 Firmware game, is now working on PS3 3.55 CFW by using the SingStar Queen PlayStation 3 update file with the SingStar Back To The 80s PS3 LiGHTFORCE release.
Below are the related PlayStation 3 downloads and a brief guide for PS3 Custom Firmware users, as follows:
1. Download this SingStar Queen .PKG update file and install it on your PS3.
2. Use a SFO editor to change the game ID from BCES01257 to BCES00494 and let multiMAN change the FW to 3.55 (or do it yourself), or download this modified PARAM.SFO File by Descrambler and replace the original one.
3. Run the game on multiMAN and it should work.
P.S. Don't install any other updates or the game won't work!
What this does is use the 3.55 FW update from SingStar Queen to work on SinSstar back to 80's (a 3.72 game) making it run on 3.55 CFW.

110w ago - Following up on the Uncharted 3 PS3 EBOOT Fix for 3.55 and 3.41 Custom Firmware comes a Battlefield 3 PS3 EBOOT Fix for CFW users from PlayStation 3 scene release group Duplex this weekend!
From the PS3 NFO (Battlefield.3.Eboot.Patch.PS3-DUPLEX) File, to quote: DUPLEX has done it again - here's an eboot patch to play the retail Disc based version from your hdd - on CFW 3.55 !!
We would usually just support BLUS30762 (Battlefield.3.PS3-DComics - Dcomics release!) , since we do not acknowledge lame region dupes. It's just a waste of traffic unless the nfo clearly states a difference to the first release (like different or additional languages etc).
But since the BLES01275 (Battlefield_3_EUR_PS3-ABSTRAKT) dupe contains several new languages, we added a patch for it too.
Included are updates, cracks and param.sfo's for both versions : BLUS30762 and BLES01275
1.) copy BLUS or BLES files to a FAT32 USB Key/USB Disk
2.) install the *DUPLEX*.Patch.v1.01.pkg
3.) install the *DUPLEX*.Crack.pkg
4.) run game from multiman and let it patch your param.sfo (alternatively take the one from our pack and replace it manually)
5.) play from...

112w ago - A few months back a PlayStation 3 Waninkoko Brick Fix and tutorial were released, and today the Gitbrew Team have released a PS3 OtherOS++ NAND Brick or PUP Updater Error Fix BETA and guide of their own.
Below is a brief guide from their site, as follows:
PS3 Beta Brick Fixing
This is a beta tool. It has only be tested on otheros++ nand bricks and some pup updater file errors. This hasn't been 100% tested, though we're looking for people to try it to see what bricks it will actually fix.
1. Put both files into the root directory of a flash drive.
2. Put the dongle into the ps3 while it is off and start it.
3. If the flash drive is activated it can be fixed using this.
4. If it however does not,...
