Rogero PS3 Buttons Layout Changer v1.0 Homebrew App Arrives

1300°
175w ago - Hello, This is a small application for the PlayStation 3 that can change the default Buttons Layout (Cross or Circle being the default Enter/Accept Button).

It is useful for the JAP PS3 model owners to make "X"/Cross the Default [Enter/Accept] Button like the USA/EUR PS3 Models.

Download Link: [Register or Login to view links]

  • It is currently compatible with PS3 FW Version 3.41 & 3.55 (other versions can be supported too if needed).
  • It checks for the PS3 FW version automatically and can detect it even if a spoof was applied.
  • Many errors checking routines are applied before changing any parameters.

I wrote it for my personal use, I do have a JAP PS3, and I thought of sharing it because it may help other users too who wants to change their JAP PS3 Buttons Layout in a simple/quick way.

Cheers,

Rogero

PS3 Cheat Enabler v1.1 Homebrew App Released by TeamSOS

1000°
179w ago - This weekend TeamSOS have released a PlayStation 3 homebrew application dubbed PS3 Cheat Enabler version 1.1 followed by some revisions below.

Download: PS3 Cheat Enabler v1.1 / [Register or Login to view links]

To quote: The PS3 Cheat Enabler is a simple GUI app that lets you turn on cheats in your games.

It works by editing the Eboot.bin files of your game, but not to worry fellow brethren, this GUI will get your cheats on and off in a click of a button.

Before you jump in, there are some tidbits of info you guys need to know, as in:

1. The cheat database comes in separately so make sure they are in the same folder to make the app work properly. We did it this way because it becomes easier to just update the database (just a few KB) rather than updating the entire software.

2. This app has an Auto Mode and Manual Mode. Auto mode is the easy way, just select the eboot, direct yourself to the correct game from the drop down box, check the cheats you want and wallah all done. Manual mode you need to select the eboot and put the hex pattern of the original code and then enter the hex pattern of the modified code and then update the eboot so the cheat is enabled. Auto Mode is normally preferred.
