Video: Destiny: Remote Play Hands-on for PS4 and PS Vita

50°
7w ago - Sony Social Media Senior Manager Sid Shuman posted up a video today showcasing Destiny remote play hands-on for PS4 and PS Vita consoles.

To quote: Destiny is just days away! I wanted to share a quick video showing off its Remote Play experience, which enables you to wirelessly stream the game from your PS4 to your PS Vita.

I spent some time playing Destiny via Remote Play during the Beta and I was really impressed with not only how good it looked on PS Vita's vivid 5-inch screen, but also how responsive it was. The team over at Bungie actually optimized the controls for Destiny on PS Vita via Remote Play.

Check out the full control scheme (below).

One of the things we noticed during the week of the Destiny Beta was that a lot of PS4 owners were streaming Destiny to their PS Vitas via Remote Play.

In fact, Destiny was the No. 1 title for Remote Play during the entire month of July, racking up the most Remote Play sessions of any PS4 title.

Sony Announces Run SackBoy Run Coming to PS Vita & Mobile Devices

7w ago - Sony XDev Europe Senior Producer Tom O'Connor announced today that Run SackBoy Run is coming to PS Vita and mobile devices with details below.

To quote: Hello! I'm Tom O'Connor, Senior Producer in the LittleBigPlanet Production team at Sony XDev Europe.

As well as putting the finishing touches to LittleBigPlanet 3 on PS4 and PS3, we have also been busy working on a brand new handcrafted (and handheld) mini-adventure. Run Sackboy! Run! is a free-to-play, platform-survival game built exclusively for PS Vita and mobile devices, in which you can earn exclusive costumes for LBP3.

The Negativitron (that big nasty vacuum cleaner who sucks up all the creativity) is back, wreaking havoc on Craftworld and nipping at the heels of our very own Sackboy!

Using simple tap and swipe gestures, you'll speed through three iconic worlds from the LittleBigPlanet series - The Gardens, The Canyons, and Avalonia - evading danger for as long you can. Anyone can enjoy the game, but as Sackboy charges along at top speed, you're going to need super-quick reactions to keep him on course and out of trouble.

Collect as many bubbles as you can as you speed through Craftworld, and then use your bubbles to buy special costumes and upgrades. Each of the costumes in the game have built in score...

Below are the details, to quote: Hello again PS.Blog. This is Chris Cobb with Ragtag Studio, developers of the forthcoming PS4 title, Ray's the Dead.

It has been quite a while since we last updated you on our progress, so we have quite a bit of news to share today, including lots of new information on the game, and the announcement that we are bringing Ray's the Dead to PS Vita!

Ray's the Dead was first announced for the PlayStation 4 at Sony's [Register or Login to view links].

Since that time, we have been hard at work at refining the controls, enhancing the features of our engine, expanding our arsenal of characters and fine-tuning the story. And finally, we've been developing the part of the game I'm most excited about, our flashback system!

I would like to refer to one of my favorite press quotes to tell you a little known fact about Ray's the Dead: 'Ray's the Dead is a charming and thoughtfully constructed game that, while related to zombies, is really centered on the main character, Ray.' -Cliqist.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is Out Today on PS Vita

50°
7w ago - NIS America Marketing Coordinator David Alonzo announced that Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is out today on PS Vita.

To quote: Greetings, doods! Your humble Prinny David from NIS America, and I'm majorly pumped to tell you that Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is out today exclusively for PS Vita, and I can't wait to - OH NO THE BEAR'S BACK! GET YOUR HAMMER AWAY -

Puhuhu! Hey, kids! Your #1 headmaster Monokuma, here again. Let me bring you a sweet, refreshing rain of blood because today Jabberwock Island's open for business and you, your annoyingly happy rabbit teacher who I like to call Monomi, and some other Ultimate Students are invited to have some deadly tropical fun!

In this new locale, you won't just be trapped in a school - you'll get multiple islands to be trapped on! There's a lot more to check out this time, so make sure your flip flops can handle some running. Beach volleyball, coconut drinks with little umbrellas in them, mysterious deaths... it's a vacation that you won't ever get from a game show.

If you survived the last trip of Hope's Peak Academy, you'll know that not too many of the original Ultimate Students were able to stick around after their first year, so I've rounded up a new set of best of the bests, and (don't tell them I told you this) I think...
