PlayStation Move Approaches 50 Supported Games, More Coming

174w ago - Today PlayStation 3 Marketing Manager Kim Nguyen has announced that PlayStation Move is approaching 50 supported games, with more coming soon!

To quote: From newly released PSN titles like Beat Sketcher and Auditorium to free updates on favorites like Heavy Rain and Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, support for PlayStation Move is growing like wildfire.

And the best is yet to come: 2011 will see the release of banner titles with PlayStation Move support such as LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3, SOCOM 4, and many more.

Here's an updated list of games that currently feature PlayStation Move support, as well as a sneak peek at what's next for the most immersive motion controller on the market. And stay tuned: This list is only the beginning. What are your favorite PlayStation Move games so far, and what are you most excited for in 2011 and beyond?

More Early Holiday Presents Are Coming to PlayStation Plus!

175w ago - Earlier today some treats were revealed for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and now PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has shared details on a few more early holiday presents on the way!

To quote: 'Tis the season to give... so our team is prepping a special gift for all PlayStation Plus subscribers. We already revealed our biggest PlayStation Plus publishes yet, including free downloads of games like Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse and Crash Team Racing.

Along with those featured games, we also have some other surprises that will keep PlayStation Plus subscribers busy over the holiday break.

Coming soon to all PlayStation Plus subscribers is a free download of the beta for Sony Online Entertainment's newest MMORPG, DC Universe Online, from the PlayStation Plus section in the PlayStation Store.

From there, they can create their own super hero (or super villain) and take an adventure through Jim Lee's vision of the DC universe. We will have more information on the exact timing of the beta in the near future, so be sure to keep your eyes on the blog.

Sony Unveils a PlayStation Home Private Members Club and More!

176w ago - SCEE Home Community Lead Alex Weekes has unveiled a PlayStation Home private members club today among several other content updates incoming.

To quote: Launching this week in PlayStation Home is the latest party venue, open to PlayStation Plus members. The ultra-exclusive PlayStation Plus Private Members Club opens its doors to PS Plus members tomorrow.

Members will be greeted in a marble foyer by a discrete doorman who will check your credentials. Inside you'll find a stylish bar area decked out in black and gold décor, while further into the space you will find discrete alcoves for socialising.

Card sharks can find several tables offering Shed, an addictive two to four player card game. With rewards to be earned, this game is sure to keep you coming back for more.

The space also offers a couple of great ways to stay updated on all the latest PS Plus news, either by reviewing a cocktail menu or watching the trailers running on the big screen.

LOOT bring us the next in their expansion bundles for the Modular Stage Set this week. The City Blocks bundle comes with all the bits you need to create your own terrifying giant-monster movie.

Meanwhile over in the V-store, you'll find two new pool tables: the Judge Dredd table, and Skull table.

180w ago - SCEE European Product Manager Phil Lynch has shared some more behind the scenes footage today of Invizimals for PSP.

To quote: Earlier in the week we had a video of Brian Blessed and Sebastian Campbell taking a break from filming the story sequences for Invizimals: Shadow Zone to talk about their roles.

Today we have the second video in this short series, featuring Matt McCooey, who plays Kenichi Nakamura in the game, and Suanne Braun, who plays Professor Michaels.

Invizimals: Shadow Zone will be released on PSP across Europe from 10 November.

181w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein announced today that No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise will be making its way exclusively to the PS3 and PlayStation Move - all in HD.

To quote: Our friends at KONAMI wanted PlayStation fans to be the first to know - Travis Touchdown is making the leap into high definition exclusively for the PS3 with No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise.

In 2011, North American PS3 owners will get their first taste of the No More Heroes universe, and KONAMI's making use of the power of the platform to add new features, additional bosses, and PlayStation Move support. That means you'll be swinging your Beam Katana through Santa Destroy's top assassins with the power and precision of PlayStation Move, all in HD.
