71w ago - Sony London Studio Producer Nathan Baseley has confirmed today that Wonderbook: Diggs Nightcrawler will be out this May with a new trailer available below.

To quote: Hello everyone, we're really pleased to announce that Wonderbook: Diggs Nightcrawler will be crawling its way into shops as of May 2013.

The game is shaping up to be fantastic, and there are several characters we would like to introduce you to. You might be familiar with our hero, Diggs - and here he is in full sleuth mode with our brand new neon art.

Throughout the game, Diggs is up against the Three Little Pigs - a group of highly disorganised police officials in Library City. They aren't the best at crime-solving, so our hero's skills are put to the test whilst dealing with their bumbling ways:

Stay tuned for more on Diggs over the coming weeks - we have a series of developer diaries in the pipeline.

Video: Resident Evil Revelations Creeps to PS3 May 21, New Features

76w ago - Capcom Product Manager Mike Lunn has announced today alongside a fresh video trailer that Resident Evil Revelations creeps to PS3 this May 21st complete with new features outlined below.

To quote: Survival horror fans! I'm super excited today to announce that Resident Evil Revelations is heading to PS3 this May. I know a lot of you guys have been patiently waiting for this one so we're happy to be bringing you the definitive Resident Evil Revelations experience along with some new extras.

For those that haven't heard of RE Revelations, it's a little bit different than some of the other Resident Evil titles you may have heard of or played recently. Revelations harkens back to the classic "survival-horror" style gameplay where you'll be exploring dark, creepy areas with little (and sometimes no) ammo to protect yourself from whatever might be lurking around the next corner.

The storyline focuses on Jill Valentine and her partner Parker Luciani as they track down the whereabouts of series standby Chris Redfield and his new partner Jessica Sherawat.

Jill and Parker are investigating the last known coordinates of their comrades on an abandoned cruise ship known as the Queen Zenobia when they're thrown into the middle of bio-terrorist conspiracy full of danger, mystery, and...

Sony VP Hints of PlayStation 4 (PS4) Announcement in May, 2013

1150°
77w ago - It's been just over a month since IGN confirmed PlayStation 4 developer kit updates surfaced, and today Sony VP of Home Entertainment Hiroshi Sakamoto has hinted that a PS4 (Orbis) announcement my arrive in May prior to E3 this year.

Below is the scoop, to quote: "He told [Register or Login to view links] in response to a question about "a new announcement related to the new PlayStation," that while the news is "still a big secret," the PlayStation side of Sony, "are getting ready for it."

He of course doesn't directly refer to a "PlayStation 4" or the rumored "Orbis" internal project name. Sakamoto adds that the PlayStation team are "focused on E3," but, "the announcement could take place at that time, or maybe even before, in May."

Sounds like Sony's toying with a pre-E3 event for its next-gen console - E3 takes place on June 11 - 13 - though Mr. Sakamoto's comments are still ambiguous enough that we can't be sure. This is a company that launched three different major hardware iterations of the PlayStation 3, so anything could happen.

Video: Face Your Demons: DmC Devil May Cry on Blu-ray & PSN Today

50°
78w ago - Capcom Community Manager Greg Moore has announced alongside a Face Your Demons video trailer that DmC Devil May Cry officially hits Blu-ray and PSN today!

Below are the details, to quote: The time to face your demons has arrived! DmC Devil May Cry for PlayStation 3 is in stores now, and downloadable from PSN in a day-and-date digital release.

We're really delighted with the final project and I think Ninja Theory did an amazing job of combining existing elements of previous DmCs, while injecting their own flavor into the franchise.

Players can definitely expect to see both radically new elements and returning staple elements from past Devil May Cry games.

New to the gameplay are the Demon and Angel powers, which allow (and demand) Dante to switch fluidly between separate sets of abilities and weapons. The Demon side delivers heavy-hitting but slower attacks, while the Angel side unleashes swift area attacks that are relatively low damage.

Dante can now also use grappling chains to propel himself, enemies, and other objects between two points, allowing for a new emphasis on positioning, crowd control, aerial combat, and some flashy traversal.

As far as the gameplay experience, you'll see a return to the series' trademark mixture of gunplay and swordplay...
