95w ago - Creative Director Jenova Chen at ThatGameCompany has announced today that Journey will be taking its first steps on PSN this coming March.
To quote: As you may know from my recent tweet, the development of our latest PlayStation Network game, Journey, is finally complete. And today, we're very excited to announce the official release date for Journey.
You will be able to download it from the PlayStation Store for $14.99 starting March 13th, 2012. Three years ago, our last game, Flower, was part of the Spring Fever event on PSN, and this year Journey will kick off this year's Spring Fever.
Look for more information on the highlight games and sales of this year's Spring Fever event on the PlayStation.Blog in the coming weeks.
With each game we create, we want to bring something truly unique and authentic to the user. We want our players to experience something they have never felt before. Our first game for PSN was flOw in 2007, a meditative zen video game haiku.
We followed that in 2009 with Flower, our video game version of a poem about the tension between urban bustle and natural serenity. Journey, our third game, is an interactive parable, an anonymous online adventure to experience a person's life passage and their intersections with other's.
95w ago - Sony Assistant Producer Shaun Wharton has announced today that Start The Party! Save the World will officially be hitting PSN on March 6, 2012.
To quote: On March 6, we're bringing PlayStation Move's fun-filled Start The Party! franchise back for a brand new adventure with a heroic twist in Start The Party! Save the World.
Available exclusively for PlayStation 3, this PSN downloadable title uses PlayStation Move and the latest augmented reality technology to turn you and up to three of your friends and family members into super heroes for the ultimate party experience.
It's up to you to save the world by thwarting the unbearable Dr. Terrible and his evil schemes while competing in 20 madcap mini-games. Using the PlayStation Eye camera, you can snap a photo to put your face in the center of the action and then use your PlayStation Move motion controller to save stranded divers, defuse bombs before they explode, splat mutant piranhas, battle dangerous dinosaurs and zap abominable alien invaders!
It's easy to keep the party going - just pass your Move controller to your friends to let them join the fun or have them simultaneously jump into gameplay using a DualShock controller to either help or hinder the exciting on-screen action!
100w ago - SCEA Director of Development Seth Luisi has made available a Covert Mission Walkthrough video today for Unit 13, which will be infiltrating the PlayStation Vita handheld on March 6, 2012.
To quote: We are at CES this week showing off the latest, near-final build of Unit 13 and we have something special in store for the community.
First, in case you missed the announcement from the PS Vita CES keynote yesterday afternoon, Unit 13 is scheduled for release on Tuesday, March 6th. We are quite excited to bring this new title to PS Vita.
Thanks to the excellent dual analogs sticks on the Vita, Unit 13 represents the first full shooter experience on a portable gaming device.
We also have, as another exclusive, the first view of the North American box front!
But what I am really here for is to provide an exclusive video walkthrough of a new level and game type in Unit 13. This is the first detailed video walkthrough of a Covert mission:
For those not keeping up on Unit 13, there are four different mission types. Direct Action missions are larger, multiple objective missions that reward tactical play.
Deadline missions are medium-sized missions where players have to...

Hello all - a quick update today on the new things we've got and we have an absolute ton of new games and DLC.
Ghostbusters return to PS3 with the Sanctum of Slime, Chime reaches us in the shape of a Super Deluxe edition and we're invaded by blue individuals with Swarm (all three of these games have trials too).
Square-Enix provides us with two awesome titles, one for each platform. The Parasite Eve saga continues on PSP in The 3rd Birthday and Moon Diver graces the PS3.
Plenty of DLC as well this week but the stand outs are Arrival for Mass Effect 2 which bridges the gap to Mass Effect 3, and a whole host of Need for Speed: Shift 2 DLC (available in-game, so have a browse) plus loads for you golf fans with a bunker load of DLC for the new Tiger Woods.
