To quote: Another revision bringing PS3 Game List to v1.9.2. Despite the minor release digit, this version implements an interesting feature (which almost stands as a project of its own): ISO 9660 file system support.

Users who have the various dongles that provide ISO image functionality can now use the app to manage their game library, check the change log for additional info. I am considering adding UDF support as well, if there is demand for it.

Since multiupload has been down for a while, I’ve been looking for alternatives. I intend to host the files at psx-scene.com, the project seems to fit their developer initiative well. I will get in touch with them and arrange something out. Meanwhile, the download is available at the provided link, it will...

Borderlands 2: PAX East Returns to Pandora on PlayStation 3

100°
119w ago - Producer Matt Charles has shared details today on Borderlands 2 from PAX East for PlayStation 3 fans today!

To quote: This weekend at the Borderlands 2 booth, we granted PAX East visitors chance to play with two brand-new characters for Borderlands 2 - Salvador the Gunzerker and Maya the Siren - in a new environment called the Caustic Caverns.

The Gunzerker and Siren classes have made great strides compared to their counterparts from the original game. Players who choose to play as Salvador will be able to use his Gunzerking ability to run into a crowd with two guns blazing.

If you played the first game, you may recognize this as an evolution of Brick's Berserking skill. Meanwhile, Maya's new Siren skill Phaselock isolates an enemy inside a phase bubble for a short time.

Once you've Phaselocked a target, your primary choice is whether to focus your fire on the helpless foe before it breaks free or mop up any other threats nearby. Decisions, decisions!

Borderlands has a strong history of co-op gameplay and that's still a core promise of this game. At PAX, we watched as Siren players Phaselocked an enemy, leaving an opening for the Gunzerker buddy to run up, dual-wielding, and take out the target just in the nick of time.

I'm also happy...

126w ago - Gearbox Software Community Manager Chris Faylor has made available a Borderlands 2 PS3 gameplay trailer today along with revealing the title's official release date!

To quote: When I say that Borderlands changed my life, it's no exaggeration. It was the way that the game rewarded each and every action that got me. Every enemy I gunned down, every chest I opened brought a feeling of accomplishment and progression.

So when I had the opportunity to join the team at Gearbox Software, I moved halfway across the country without a moment's hesitation. Ever since, I've been seeing things that amaze me, things I know our fans will absolutely love. Things I haven't been able to talk about... until today.

Because today, we're blowing the lid off of Borderlands 2. We've got a new trailer, and if you haven't already skimmed down and hit Play, let me tell you what you're in for. You're going to meet the four new playable characters. You're going to catch a glimpse of the colorful new environments and areas you'll be fighting through.

You're going to see what you're up against, from new enemies like the multi-armed Bullymong and the robotic Loaders to the man with the plan to destroy you and everyone else on the planet, Handsome Jack. You're going to see a fraction...

Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland PS3 Translation v0.1 Out

1300°
145w ago - Today is a good day for Atelier-series fans! Similar to Disgaea 4 PS3 translation patch released earlier, Tidusnake666 on PS3 News has updated his work in progress and now shared a PS3 translation v0.1 of the Japanese version of Atelier Totori: The Alchemist of Arland 2.

Few thing to note before reading on:

  • Translation was done with Microsoft Translator API based program, so sometimes it, frankly saying, doesn't make sense. But, story messages are natively (officially) English, although there're some padding problems, but they do make sense.
  • Pretty much everything (skills, side-dialogues, locations, names, items, ingredients, even bestiary and much more) was parsed in translation, but approx.10% of text remained untranslated with original Japanese words. But I'm sure you can figure it out
  • Voice acting will be in Japanese (cons of Japanese EBOOT)
  • The game is fully untested, so there may be crashes, although I checked everything byte-by-byte.
  • If you don't like it, do it better!
