200°
148w ago - Today Jawad Ashraf of the PlayStation Store Team has shared the new European PSN Game Store updates for this week, as follows:

This is a fairly quiet week in terms of new games but hopefully some of you will snap up a new batch of avatars ranging from Assassin's Creed to King of Fighters (oh-Mai-oh-Mai!)

We have Duke Nukem Forever as one of our main disc-to-digital titles this week. Step into the shoes of Duke Nukem, the pumped up one-man army who never fails and always gets the ladies.

We also have Rock Band DLC featuring tracks from Hall & Oates, Devin Townsend and more. I'm sure some of you will be rocking out to these until the next batch of DLC. The full list of additions follows below this great wall of text!

This week also concludes the January sale with a special set of games being reduced by up to 50%! To celebrate the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XIII-2 a nice selection of Final Fantasy titles have been slashed! For the complete list please see the Special Offers section. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the demo of FFXIII-2 available on the store right now!

But wait! If you're a PS Plus member you can enjoy Final Fantasy Vas part of your subscription from February 8th when the Plus content refreshes - so if you have your...

PlayStation Store PS3 and PSN Updates for January 24, 2012

148w ago - PlayStation Store Director Grace Chen is here with this weeks US PSN updates today, as follows:

Hi Everyone - This week sees the release of PSN Game Scarygirl. PS mini aficionados will be the first tell you about the magial, creepy-yet-cute world of Scarygirl with the first release which hit earlier last year.

Now, this beautiful platformer series sees a new adventure in which Scarygirl must go on a journey to determine who the man haunting her dreams is. Based on the original graphic novel by Nathan Jurevicius, Scarygirl delivers a combination of fantastically unique visuals and classic side-scrolling gameplay.

Expect more from the PS3 Full Games category with new releases Duke Nukem Forever and Mortal Kombat hitting PlayStation Network today. In case you needed an introduction to these two pillars in gaming, Duke Nukem Forever marks the return of the FPS's most tongue-in-cheek hero. Fight aliens and enjoy the one-of-a-kind humor that only playing a Duke Nukem game can bring.

Mortal Kombat also brings M-rated fun. Hailed as one of the best entries in the MK series, this entry sports great multiplayer (as always, play online free over PSN), and also contains a great new take on single player story telling in fighting games. And yes, this is the full PS3 version which...

PixelJunk Shooter receives the demo treatment as well, giving you absolutely no reason not to play another PixelJunk gem!

Full PS3 downloads of Duke Nukem: Forever and Mortal Kombat (also confirmed for PS Vita) bring your favorite badass kicking and bubble-gum chewing franchises to the digital era on PSN.

Finally, make sure to wrap up your week in gaming with the 9th episode of the PlayStation Blogcast (miss me?) Enjoy this week's The Drop.
