Aston Martin DP-100

For the past few days, our friends at Aston Martin have been releasing teaser images of the latest Vision Gran Turismo project, Aston Martin DP-100 - starting with nothing more than an in-game GT6 image of the headlight and top down view of the carbon fiber built engine. On Thursday, a short teaser film presented the Aston Martin DP-100 in true GT form for the very first time.

Well the day has finally arrived - Aston Martin taken the covers off the DP-100 to the public at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Developed entirely in house by the Design team at Aston Martin, led by Design Director Marek Reichman, DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo is a new, virtual-only GT racer that will be available for Gran Turismo 6 owners to download in July 2014, following the global launch at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Starting with nothing but the traditional...

New Watch_Dogs Trailer Unveiled, Showcases Untrustworthy Heroes

50°
11w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Nik Schmidt unveiled a new Watch_Dogs PS4 trailer today which showcases the untrustworthy heroes below.

To quote: Hello again! We're only three weeks out from launch, and everyone here at the Ubisoft offices is firing on all cylinders to get the game out to you on May 27th.

In the short time remaining, we want to provide you with more information about the world of Watch_Dogs on PS4 and PS3. Today, let's take a look at the game's main characters.

As you can see, it's never totally clear who is teamed up with Aiden. The world of Watch_Dogs is filled with duality, danger, and warring factions. Take someone like Jordi: you wouldn't call him a friend, but rather a business associate.

Everything can change with the touch of a smart phone, keystroke, or pull of a trigger - it's volatile, to say the least. It remains to be seen how Aiden interacts with these individuals, but they're all unique and complex characters that help add color and intrigue to the game's story.

Stay tuned - the next three weeks are going to be jam-packed with new info and assets from our team. We hope you're as excited as we are for Watch_Dogs' May 27th launch! And remember, everything is...

The Real Horror Behind Daylight on PlayStation 4 / PS4 is Unveiled

50°
38w ago - Writer Jessica Chobot unveiled the real horror behind Daylight on PlayStation 4 / PS4 today, with details below as follows:

Considering today is Halloween, the dev team and I wanted to share with you a story about what inspired Daylight's location, the fictional Mid Island.

It's an abandoned, desolate place with the fašade of any other island in the New England area, but bears deep scars in terms of unspeakable events that took place there and at its most infamous location, the Mid Island Bay Hospital.

While a lot of the environments in our game are a hodgepodge of various haunted locales around the country, there's one very real, very personal experience I had growing up that truly inspired the feel of Daylight. This is that story...

The town that I grew up in had a Rockwellian main street, a neighborhood drug store that still served phosphates, rows of corn as far as the eye could see, and an abandoned mental facility known as The Sheldon Buildings.

Built in the 1900′s, the Sheldon Buildings were left to rot after accusations of abuse and misappropriated funds shut the place down.

In the late '90s, the city finally sealed up the underground tunnels beneath the facility, knocked down the brick buildings, and vomited up a few acres worth of...

To quote: Hey everyone, Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is coming your way in just a short couple of weeks. The game is an epilogue to the Future series, and is available on the PS Store for a price of $29.99 on November 12th. It'll also be available on a Blu-ray disc at retail.

Ratchet is always known for great weapons. To give you a sampling of some of the new and fan-favorite weapons in Into the Nexus, we put together this video showcasing them.

You can select which weapons you want to check out from this "youtube weapon wheel" and then see Ratchet using them in Into the Nexus' Arena level.

In the video, you'll get to see Mr. Zurkon, who upgrades to bring along his family members (who also have all their own dialog). The Classic Ratchet & Clank morph weapon returns as the Winterzier, a weapon that spreads holiday cheer with holiday music and presents, turning enemies into snowmen that vary by enemy.

The game's "spooky" theme plays out with three weapons in the video, including the Nether Beast, Nether...

Video: Puppeteer Out Today, PlayStation 3 Launch Trailer Unveiled

100°
46w ago - Sony Worldwide Studios Art Director Gavin Moore announced that Puppeteer for PS3 is officially out today alongside a PlayStation 3 launch trailer below.

To quote: Hi everyone. At last, after more than three years of hard work, we finally get to launch Puppeteer today for PS3.

It's a true labor of love, and we can't wait to see what you all think of it. Take a look at the launch trailer for a taste of what's to come.

When I started with Puppeteer, the idea was to take a lot of inspiration from Japanese culture and mash it up into a crazy game. I really like that old look, but I'm glad we decided, as a team, to move the art direction to where we are now.

Mixing both Western and Japanese influences and moving more towards a darker, grimmer fairy tale. Besides, it would have been hard to be as creative and crazy with the characters and the world if we had stuck to the original look.

Looking back over the three and a half years of production, Puppeteer has been a lot of fun to make. Half of me is glad that we finally finished, but the other half feels a little sorrow because I won't be able to direct Kutaro on his crazy adventures anymore.

The best thing, though, is that...
