35w ago - Tarsier Studios Community Coordinator Simon Rosenkotter has posted up a new LittleBigPlanet PS Vita trailer today along with some early review highlights below.
To quote: As some of you may have seen already, copies of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita have been popping up early at various retailers.
If you've been lucky enough to snag a copy, I hope you're enjoying the early access! Keep in mind, the servers won't go live until September 18th, so online play won't be available for another day, but you can still play the game offline in its entirety.
And now that you're beginning to dig into Sackboy's latest mobile adventure, we have a whole bunch of goodies and treats to show you.
LittleBigPlanet PS Vita has been developed by Tarsier Studios and Double Eleven with a brand new story that takes place not on Craftworld, but on the travelling planet of Carnivalia.
Once the bringer of joy and laughter, Carnivalia has now been taken over by the mysterious Puppeteer and his evil henchmen, the Hollows! Now it creates joy only to steal it all back again. So, it's up to Sackboy to save the Omniverse when the game officially launches in North America on September 25th!
In celebration of our launch, we have a brand new trailer for you, which takes a closer look...
41w ago - After playing the game on my PS3 for a few weeks, here is my Rainbow Moon PSN review for PS3News.com!
Rainbow Moon is a SRPG for PSN from SideQuest studios and Eastasiasoft. You play the role of Baldren who at the start of the game is cursed into a portal by his nemesis.
You find yourself in a beautiful, enchanting once peaceful land of Rainbow Moon. Unfortunately you are not the only thing that has come through the portal. The curse has unleashed hoards of monsters upon this paradise.
The people of Rainbow Moon are very weary of you at first and believe you are behind the infestation detroying there land. Your goal as Baldren is to Rid the world of monsters and find a way back home, if possible.
I started my quest on Normal difficulty and had little trouble learning what I needed in terms of strategy to win battles in this turn based grid battle system. You will meet many people along the way, some of who will join your quest after you save them from an enemy or complete a quest for them. This greatly helps...
74w ago - Sony PlayStation Network Executive Producer Kevin Furuichi has posted up a preview of their PULSE 12/20 Edition, which features the Year in Review below.
To quote: As 2011 draws to a close, join Christina Lee for a look back at some of the year's most memorable games. From Sackboy's return in LittleBigPlanet 2 to Nathan Drake's epic adventure in UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception, this year was one of the biggest in recent memory.
From the big shooters like Killzone 3 and Battlefield 3 to surprises such as PSN exclusives Eufloria and inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood, the year also included a dramatic redesign of PlayStation Home and a beautiful compilation of the beloved Ico & Shadow of the Colossus collection.
We know this only scratches the surface and there's plenty of titles PULSE didn't have time to mention, but we hope you enjoy a walk through another amazing year for our industry.
And, remember you can watch the full edition of PULSE from the 'What's New' section on your XMB later today when the PlayStation Store updates.
Have a safe and happy holiday and look for PULSE to return in mid-January.
81w ago - I received my E3 Flasher a couple of hours ago from LighTake.com and here is my review.
The E3 flasher comes in a nice big box, it's actually bigger than I expected it to be and it contains 3 inner boxes.
The first box contains all the important stuff like the Nor flasher, main board and the cover board which connects to the pins on the main board.
The second box contains all the accessories and cables like the Esata USB cable which is not used with the E3 flasher at all and is probably for use with the PC or something like that it also contains the Esata cable which is used with the E3 flasher and the power adapter which didn't fit in my power socket because it wasn't the right shape (different region), so I had to go of and buy a power adapter converter thing so the Esata station will work.
For the accessories they included a power switch for PS3 slim users and a metal case for the main board to sit in where the HDD usually sits but a screw driver wasn't included like they mentioned.
The third box contains the Esata station and it is the biggest and heaviest box out of the three.
