Video: Sucker Punch: InFamous Second Son PS4 Patch Out Tomorrow

50°
14h ago - Today Brian Fleming of Sucker Punch Productions announced that their InFamous Second Son PS4 patch will be out tomorrow alongside a PlayStation 4 video trailer below.

To quote: I have some good news for you. We've made great progress on the inFAMOUS Second Son patch on PS4 I promised you a couple weeks back. In fact, we expect to publish it on PSN tomorrow, April 17th.

Now first, let me update you on the specifics I promised, and then toss in a few extra goodies that we managed to squeeze in when nobody was looking. First - addressing one of the top two requests we've gotten - you'll be able to disable the HUD, and once you've finished the game you'll be able to adjust the time of day as you like.

We also promised, and have included, an option to cap the game frame rate at 30 FPS if you prefer playing this way. To set expectations for you all: this is a frame rate cap - not a lock. It won't eliminate the rare instance of a dropped frame during gameplay.

But that's all stuff you expected. Let's talk about a few surprises, saving the best for last:

• A handful of localization text changes, and a couple of fixes for rare crashes in the game (Thanks to all of you who uploaded reports on those,...

14h ago - Sony Content Manager Ed Casey shared a video today announcing that Trials Fusion is now available on PlayStation 4 with a new PS4 trailer below!

To quote: The wait is over! After months of teases, previews, trailers, and more, it's finally time to strap on your helmet, straddle your bike, and smash face first into the ground at incredibly high speed.

That's right; it's time for Trials Fusion.

"But Trials Fusion guys, I don't even LIKE motorcycles," you plead. Well that's utterly ridiculous, but don't sweat it because we have you covered. Trials Fusion comes complete with alternate modes of transportation for all your vehicular mayhem needs. We've got ATVs and BMX bikes just waiting to be taken for a spin.

And what's the best part of Trials Fusion's unique brand of physics-based platform racing? Why, being better than everyone else of course. Trials Fusion comes fully stocked with ways to dominate...

PlayStation Now Beta Game Loading Times Leaked, New Improvements

50°
2d ago - Some PlayStation Now Beta game loading times have been leaked from an anonymous participant and have since been compared to the previous phase of testing with details below.

To quote from DualShockers (linked above): "Back in February a reader that wished to remain anonymous sent us a list of the loading times of all the games that were available in the first phase of the beta of PlayStation Now.

The beta has now moved on to the second phase, with a whole lot of new games available and even some returning ones. The same reader took it upon himself to clock the loading times again using the same internet connection and shared them with us.

Like last time, each timing in the list below is from the launch of the game to the splash screen. We were provided a video as evidence, but we were asked not to publish it to protect the tipster’s identity (and account).

Between parenthesis you can also see the loading times of the returning games in the first phase of the beta, for comparison’s sake.

Current PlayStation Now Beta List:

  • Shadow of the Colossus - 46.72 (old time: 53.98)
  • WipeOut HD - 57.19
  • Dead Nation - 40.05
  • PixelJunk Monsters - 39.90
