To quote: The time has come! The release of [Register or Login to view links] on PS3 and PS Vita is here!

Over the past year, we here at SEGA have traveled across the US to bring Project DIVA to you all. I have witnessed the unifying power of Miku firsthand, and seen how her music and her games bring people together with her message of universal positivity. I've met some of the most wonderful people through this project, and for that I thank you all.

For you long-time fans, this is the best Project DIVA release yet. For those of you who first played Project DIVA last year with our first international release, you are in for a real treat discovering the songs that made Miku what she is today. And with the sequel launching today, you'll finally get to experience English subtitles on the songs for the very first time.

For those of you who have yet to experience Miku and Project DIVA, now is the time to jump on board. With 40 songs that mix both new and classic hits, you are...

Project: PS3 4K Dumped by ModRobert, CFW on PS3 Super Slim (4K)

400°
17w ago - Today PlayStation 3 developer modrobert has dumped the PS3 4K unit memory and initiated a project that aims to implement PlayStation 3 4K Custom Firmware (CFW) on PS3 Super Slim (4K) models with details below.

To quote: "After releasing 3k3y firmware v2.11 beta (with OFW 4.55 support) and losing interest in the ODE "cat & mouse" game with Sony (OFW 4.60 and 4.65), I have spent the past few weeks researching and dumping raw data in an ongoing project to extract lv0.2 keys via bootldr.

My dumps include data from most of the PS3 4k chipsets, this was *NOT* collected by sniffing a bus (or several) in a conventional way, so even if targeted key is embedded in silicon, as long as it is processed/executed internally by any kind of microcode I might be able to catch it.

At this point I don't want to reveal how the data was obtained exactly, it is a method of my own design based on several known side channel attacks. The intention is to release the method eventually.

What is required to install CFW on PS3 Super Slim (4k)?

  • Added lv0.2 to the crypto chain diagram which is how it works on PS3 Super Slim (4k).

NEW consoles only: metadata lv0.2 (signed with nonrandomfail key) is used to check lv0 integrity.

As I figured it (please...

That's right. You're not dreaming. We believed in all of you and we asked for your support - and you gave it to us without reservation. It was your supportive comments, your encouraging words at every place we showed the game, and your drive that made all the difference.

Some of you bought the game twice - others three or even four times. But whether you picked it up once or four times, all of you helped make Miku a success, and still do. Thank you so much for that.

Now, it's our turn to believe in you once more.

This fall, we will be releasing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd for both PS3 and PS Vita. Project Diva F 2nd features similar but improved gameplay over the first game, with a whopping 40 songs - a collection of the best new songs, and some of the most loved classic songs, previously...
