Video: Hyperdevotion Noire Battle System Detailed for PS Vita

50°
2d ago - Idea Factory International's David Alonzo shared details today alongside a video on the Hyperdevotion Noire Battle System for PS Vita below.

To quote: Greetings, ladies and gentlemen! My name is David, here for Idea Factory International, and I'm happy to give you a glimpse of the battle system for the upcoming strategy RPG Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart, which is launching early 2015 exclusively on PS Vita.

This spinoff of the Hyperdimension Neptunia world introduces a new way for everyone's favorite Goddesses to fight, and they've brought a whole army of friends to help them!

Taking place in the new world of Gamarket, you'll see that the Goddesses get the chibi treatment, but just because they're smaller doesn't mean they can't do huge amounts of damage!

Because if there's one thing these characters do better than breaking the fourth wall, it's battle. And for the first time ever in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, your battleground is a 3D strategy grid.

Your Goddesses will bring their crazy skills to the world of strategy, and lay the smackdown in a whole new way, but you can't just run up to your enemy and hit 'em or else you'd be taking the "strategy" out of "strategy...

2d ago - Atomicom Managing Director Gary Nichols announced today that Switch Galaxy Ultra is out next Tuesday on PS4 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: Hey there, Gary from Atomicom here with an update on Switch Galaxy Ultra. It's one of the fastest reaction racers out there, and it launches on PlayStation Store next week Tuesday, just in time for the holiday season.

We're very proud to announce that the Charity Pack, which supports Caudwell Children, features licensed music from Nero, Chase & Status, Modestep, and Kove.

All the proceeds from the sale of this pack go to help this amazing charity who support poor, sick, and disabled children, so please dig deep and help us support them by buying the pack.

Being only a small team, we're very proud of what we have achieved with the game, from its early origins on Android through to our critically acclaimed Switch Galaxy, which launched last year on PlayStation Mobile.

Now there's Switch Galaxy Ultra, which we can honestly say is one of the biggest undertakings we've made so far as a team.

Both PS4 and PS Vita versions are running in super smooth 60 frames per second, with the PS4 version at 1080p and both supporting cross buy, cross play, and cross save, along with Online Multiplayer and tons of content. It's...

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD Leaps to PlayStation Vita Today

100°
3d ago - Oddworld Inhabitants Community Manager Wil Bunce-Edwards announced that Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD leaps to PlayStation Vita today.

To quote: Hey PlayStation fans. We're excited today to announce that later today we'll be releasing Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD onto PS Vita via PlayStation Store.

For those that don't know the game, Abe is back after starring in the first two Oddworld games (and this year's Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty on PlayStation 4), but now he's playing second fiddle to a new hero called Munch. Munch is a Gabbit, and the last of his kind. As their guardian angel, it's your destiny to bring his species back from the brink of extinction.

Munch and Abe's destination is Vykkers Labs, a floating pharmaceutical station running all sorts of grizzly experiments on Oddworld's cutest critters in the name of a better fabric softener. It's here they'll find not only stockpiled Mudokon eggs on sale to factory owners as cheap labor, but also the last can of Gabbiar, the disgusting delicacy that is raw Gabbit eggs.

On their way they'll infiltrate factories and bankrupt the CEOs by donating to a corrupt charity that's funding their latest Oddysee.

Munch's Oddysee carries many similar themes and mechanics to Abe's Oddysee, including the planned extinction of...

Video: Krinkle Krusher Coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita in February

50°
1w ago - Ilusis Interactive Graphics Creative Director Leonardo Arantes made available a video trailer today announcing that Krinkle Krusher is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita in February 2015.

To quote: Hi readers! Let me introduce you to the cutest and deadliest creatures in the world! Meet the krinkles!

Krinkle Krusher is an action castle defense where you cast elemental spells to defend your kingdom from funny creatures called Krinkles.

After several generations of peace, they happen to come back exactly when the Ancient Tree bears its first fruits in centuries. Naturally, a cake was made from it. Don't be fooled by their cute looks; the Krinkles are insatiable and will devour anything in their path!

To defend your peaceful kingdom, you will take the role of the enchanted glove of the mighty Wizard. By making simple gestures you can cast powerful elemental spells to zap, freeze or even set the invaders on fire.

However, being a talking magic glove is not an easy task! You must decide quickly where to cast your spells, exploit your foes weaknesses, and always keep enough mana for eventual surprises. I am sure you will enjoy the several combos and different strategies we are preparing for you.

1w ago - Versus Evil Community Director Lance James shared a video today on bringing The Banner Saga to PS Vita and PlayStation 4 with details below.

To quote: The first thing we have to say is "thank you" to every single fan of The Banner Saga who has helped raise the profile of the game and has supported the Stoic team from the start.

Your passion for The Banner Saga and the way you have helped spread the word has been instrumental in the decision to bring this amazing and unique game experience to PS4.

We're also excited and honored to have PlayStation announce that the game is also coming to PS Vita at the recent PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas this past weekend.

Our friends and partners in crime at Stoic (who just announced The Banner Saga 2 at the Game Awards in Las Vegas last Friday) are some of the nicest, most talented, and dedicated game makers you'll ever meet, and we couldn't be happier for them. The team at Stoic took some time out of their busy schedules to tell you a bit more about the Vita version below.

Being able to bring The Banner Saga to Vita is especially exciting since the fans have been asking for it for a long time, and it's a natural fit for the game as well...
