XDEV Studio Shares an Update to Resogun - Save the Last Pirates

50°
4d ago - XDEV Studio Europe Associate Producer Rogan Ogden shared a sneak peek today on an update to Resogun dubbed Save the Last Pirates below.

To quote: Ahoy, me hearties, I be writin' you this message, t' inform you of new treasures to be found!

If you be playin' [Register or Login to view links] between the dates of September 18th and September 20th, you will find one of me very own ship mates has joined your crew... and you can keep him, I don't be wantin' that traitorous dog back!

Now that that bit is over, and I can type like a normal person again, we are of course celebrating the incredibly important and internationally recognized Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Everyone who plays Resogun between the 18th and 20th of September will receive a pirate themed human for free and to keep forever (well as long as you have your save data). The pirate skin will only be available at this time, so if you miss it, you miss it.

For those of you that are still frequent Resogun players, you will of course know that this will be the third themed human that we are releasing.

We still have a bunch more human themed skins to release through the rest of this year and the next, so here are a couple...

Video: The Last Tinker: City of Colors Out Today on PlayStation 4

5w ago - LOOT Entertainment Product Manager Jason Sorensen announced that The Last Tinker: City of Colors is out today on PlayStation 4 alongside a PS4 video trailer below.

To quote: This is it. Right here, right now. This is your moment to help begin the renaissance of the indie-developed, 3D platformer.

The reaction to our announcement that The Last Tinker was coming to PlayStation was staggering. We knew it would be positive, but not to this degree! We had no idea there was this pent-up demand for more 3D platformers.

This isn't just a game. This is a statement. A confirmation of the belief that 3D platformers are not dead. A shining neon beacon, fifty stories tall, that there is more to a game than technical specifications.

PlayStation is a platform for the biggest and loudest games ever made. Absolutely. But it's also a platform which openly promotes creativity and imagination. People turn to the indie scene when they want something different; something innovative, stylish, and creative.

The Last Tinker: City of Colors is a PS4 game that is as wonderful and fun to play as those great PS2 and PS3 games of yesterday. At LOOT, we really do believe Tinker will be remembered as the spark which...

Video: Behind the Scenes of The Last Tinker: City of Colors on PS4

6w ago - LOOT Entertainment Product Manager Jason Sorensen went behind the scenes today in a video of The Last Tinker: City of Colors on PS4 below.

To quote: PlayStation's embrace of indies is one of the most important developments in the gaming industry today. There are vast seas of awesome, innovative games that get made but then are completely overlooked and undiscovered - and PlayStation has neatly solved this.

Thanks to PlayStation, you can actually develop a really cool and innovative game, knowing that if it's well-made, it can be featured on the best damn gaming platform around.

And here at LOOT, we believe that The Last Tinker is something special. Judging from the vast majority of the comments our announcement post received last week, it looks like you guys feel the same way. Which is AWESOME. Do you know how good it feels when you announce a game and people are like, "I can't wait to play this!"

It feels like you just won a wrestling match with a grizzly bear inside a nuclear submarine and there's Megan Fox and all of a sudden Morgan Freeman is narrating in the background. That's how awesome it feels. So thank you guys for that.

As a result of your feedback, we've reached out to the...
