Video: Over-the-top Shooter Loadout Getting Cooperative Campaign

50°
4w ago - Edge of Reality's Greg Bauman shared a PS4 video today announcing that their PlayStation 4 over-the-top shooter Loadout is getting a cooperative campaign!

To quote: Hello again, PlayStation fans! I'm Greg Bauman from Edge of Reality, the fine folks behind [Register or Login to view links], the game we introduced you to at E3 this year. The team here has been toiling away to get our game ready to play on PS4!

These things do take time - there's a lot of work in checking, adjusting, and cleaning the barrels on several billion weapons. The amount of gun wax we go through in a day - don't get me started.

Still, we've made fantastic progress, and Loadout will be making its PS4 console-exclusive debut very soon! Before you know it, the ridiculously explosive world of Loadout will be swarming with PS4 players! That's the good news.

The bad news is, you guys won't be arriving alone. Take a look at THESE guys...

It turns out when we announced that we were letting the PS4 community fight over shiny, precious rocks in Loadout, a group of intergalactic, Blutonium-hungry killers decided to show up and take all the rocks...

PlayStation Store Gets Discount Code Feature for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita

100°
5w ago - Following today's scheduled PSN maintenance update, users have now confirmed that Sony's PlayStation Store now offers a Discount Code feature for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

Below are the details, to quote: "After today's PSN maintenance, which incidentally ended early, the PlayStation Store got an interesting addition: a field for "10-digit discount code" has been added to the cart on the web and mobile storefronts.

This feature is normally present in most online stores, with codes distributed as part of promotions, as purchase incentives or simply as bonuses to previous orders, but it wasn't supported by the PlayStation Store before.

At the moment we don't know how extensively the feature will be used or when the codes will start appearing in the wild, but considering that we're approaching the Holiday Season, it's definitely promising."

How to Get a High Score in Don't Die, Mr. Robot on PS Vita

50°
9w ago - Today Mike Daw at Infinite State Games shared details on how to get a high score in Don't Die, Mr. Robot on PS Vita below.

To quote: The game formerly known as "Avoid Droid" has undergone a name change since you last heard about it... We really liked the original name as it perfectly summed up the game in just two words, but a question we had to ask ourselves here at Infinite State Games: did we like the name more than we liked not going to court?

Short answer: no.

You see, the word "droid" is a registered trademark of Lucasfilms Ltd. And we're pretty sure they have more lawyers than our crack team of... zero.

So we say goodbye to Avoid Droid and hello to Don't Die, Mr. Robot!

It's a fruity arcade dodge-em-up with the focus on adrenaline fuelled, skin-of-your-teeth dodging, score chasing, and endless replayability. It's got everything a true fan of arcade games needs: fruit, explosions, multipliers... And we're really excited to bring Don't Die, Mr. Robot! to PS Vita this year.

Mr. Robot loves fruit! But whenever he tries to eat a fruit, it explodes. Poor Mr. Robot! It's not all bad though because exploding fruit destroys the endless hordes of robotic enemies hell bent on crushing, zapping, chomping, or otherwise making Mr. Robot die.
