Rumor: SKFU Claims DriveClub May Brick Your PS4 Blu-ray Drive, Details

550°
5d ago - Following up on his previous PS4 hacking update, today PlayStation 4 hacker SKFU posted on his blog that DriveClub may brick your PS4 Blu-ray drive with details on the rumor below.

To quote: DRIVECLUB may brick your PS4 Blu-Ray Drive?!

Driveclub is currently facing a lot of problems including a few delays, server-side problems and more. Today a friend from Hong Kong told me about a major bug which he faced due the release day of Driveclub.

Since he is PS+ subscriber, he has access to the free PS+ version of Driveclub. He added it to his download list, waiting for the next time he'd be online.

Meanwhile he also purchased the disc version of Driveclub. Full of "GREATNESS AWAITS" thoughts, he turned on his PS4 and went online.

As the Driveclub PS+ version was already in his download list, it began to download. While the game was downloading, he wanted to use his disc version and pushed it inside the PlayStation 4's Blu-Ray drive.

It seems that no one actually ever tested if a user would do that. The disc drive of my friend stopped working right away. Ejecting and inserting works fine, but the PS4 won't...

Video: Pinball Meets RPG in Rollers of the Realm by Atlus, Details

3w ago - Atlus PR Manager John Hardin announced today that Pinball meets RPG in Rollers of the Realm with a video and details below.

To quote: Okay, so maybe you've heard of Rollers of the Realm, the Pinball RPG from ATLUS and Phantom Compass; and maybe you even know that it's going to be cross buy for PS4 and PS Vita for just $9.99.

But what I'm sure you're still unclear on is "how the heck will this game work?" Well, fortunately for you, we put together this handy little guide for the good folks at PlayStation.Blog.

First, the basics: Rollers of the Realm blends the physics-based gameplay of pinball with all your favorite RPG mechanics. And we're not joking, you have a whole party of characters that have unique abilities (in the form of pinballs, naturally).

For example, your Rogue - who can steal gold from villagers or deal backstab damage on foes - is the lightest pinball in your arsenal and can be used to squeeze through tight spaces to unlock hidden areas. She also can summon her canine companion, that acts as a multiball to really clear out enemies quickly.

In contrast, there is the larger, heavier, drunken Knight who is less... accurate, but can smash through boxes or other barriers to...

2K Games Details NBA 2K15: MyPARK and PlayStation 4 Exclusives

100°
3w ago - 2K Games Senior Community Manager Ronnie Singh shared details today on NBA 2K15: MyPARK and PlayStation 4 exclusives below.

To quote: Hi guys. Today, we announced the return of The Park, now known as MyPARK.

In NBA 2K14, The Park was first unveiled. It was the first iteration of a revolutionary mode unseen in any sports game, bringing MyPLAYERs together to play casual games of street ball.

This year, the world is getting bigger and the stakes higher. The Old Town Flyers, Sunset Beach Ballers, and Rivet City Rough Riders are recruiting true competitors to represent their community in NBA 2K15′s MyPARK mode.

Each affiliation has its own 8-court home park and unique flavor of basketball emphasized by slight boosts to various aspects of your game. Pledge your loyalty to one and start making a name for yourself.

For those of you that don't feel like street ball is your thing, try out the Jordan Rec Center, which features four full-sized courts and five minute quarters of 5v5, NBA rules basketball.

Each MyPARK affiliation has a Jordan Rec Center that allows for your MyPLAYER to take it to the arena. Games played here also count toward your MyPARK rep and the MyPARK championship (more on that in a minute). Watch more here.
