4w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Justin Massongill is here with a hands-on look at Diablo III (and Reaper of Souls) on PlayStation 4 below!
To quote: I'm here in Anaheim for Blizzcon 2013, and as anyone who knows me might have guessed, the first thing I did when I got here was make a beeline for the Diablo III booth to get some hands-on time with its in-development PS4 version.
Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way first: Diablo III looks good on PS4. The demo I played didn't stutter or hitch once - the PS4 version runs at 1080p and 60FPS or better throughout, as confirmed by Production Director John Hight when I spoke with him on the show floor.
Everything looks tack-sharp, and plenty of extra bits have been added or tweaked in Diablo III's PS4 version. Just wait 'til you see the glow of a freshly dropped health globe reflected in a pool of stagnant water.
Diablo III's DualShock 4 controls are still being tweaked and perfected, but the touchpad implementation today was largely gesture-based, swiping left and right to switch to different inventory and skill subsections. It's pretty hard to improve on the perfection of Diablo III's radial menus as they are on PS3, but DualShock 4′s touchpad makes for a suitable change of...
In our action-packed single-player and same-screen co-op demos, players will explore the haunted streets of Westmarch as one of our five original classes, or test their mettle as the unyielding Crusader.
Attendees of the convention will also be some of the first in the world to take on Death itself using DualShock 4, armed with all-new social features and touchpad technology designed to help keep heroes on focused on what they do best: killing monsters.

9w ago - Sony Product Manager Ross Alexander confirmed that Beyond: Two Souls is out today on PS3 and made available the official PlayStation 3 launch trailer below.
To quote: Hey Everyone, Beyond: Two Souls is officially in stores today! Before you run out to pick up your copy, we have one final trailer to get you excited about Quantic Dream's tour de force, starring Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe.
It's been an incredible journey bringing this game to your doorsteps, and we're so excited to finally get what promises to be a true evolution in storytelling mediums into your hands. Earlier in the year, we were honored with an official selection by Tribeca Film Festival where we blew audiences away with Beyond's cinematic presentation and performances.
Media and fans alike walked away from E3 impressed with the fluid control scheme, and the way David Cage and team have advanced the gameplay from Heavy Rain to deliver a more immersive experience (and later, they were further excited by the level of choice they witnessed in the PSN Demo).
Then, last week, our friends in Europe hosted an incredible red-carpet premiere for the game at the famed Grand Rex theater in Paris.
10w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements shared a fresh video today announcing that Beyond: Two Souls on PlayStation 3 is not another Heavy Rain.
To quote: At first glance, Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain seem to have more in common than not. Both games focus on intricate narratives and deep character development, highlighted by cutting-edge performance capture and dazzling digital sets.
But on closer examination, Beyond: Two Souls, which launches exclusively for PS3 on October 8th, is a wholly unique creation with no obvious analogue.
For one, its sweeping story focuses on one character instead of four. Beyond: Two Souls spans an entire lifetime as it follows the trials of protagonist Jodie Holmes (Ellen Page) and her constant companion, Aiden - an invisible entity with incredible powers. For another, it features a radically different, more direct play style compared to Heavy Rain.
In our new interview, Quantic Dream co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere discusses the differences between the team's two latest projects, and the daunting scope of the story. Listen in for his insight on the game design process, and how Quantic Dream infused player-driven choices into a story-driven experience.
