To quote: Paging all [Register or Login to view links] attendees! This is ATLUS speaking! (Well, I guess I'm more of a representative.)

If you're like me and tend to lose all your money on that darn fish slot machine, then you probably want to take a break from all the Vegas hubbub and play some video games!

In fact, that's definitely what I'll be doing... at the ATLUS booth! Let us cheer you up with games and STUFF! Here are our top reasons why you should visit us.

1. Play some awesome games! The most unique of the unique. The crème de la pinball. Check out the pinball RPG [Register or Login to view links].

Persevere through the hands of tyranny; use your brains, your reflexes, and your balls in this medieval RPG pinball game. It's currently available on PS4 and PS Vita. It's also a cross buy game, so when you purchase it on one system, you automatically get it for the other!

2. Now, how about we go old-school? ATLUS will also have the soon-to-be-released retro RPG [Register or Login to view links]

Video: Pinball Meets RPG in Rollers of the Realm by Atlus, Details

8w ago - Atlus PR Manager John Hardin announced today that Pinball meets RPG in Rollers of the Realm with a video and details below.

To quote: Okay, so maybe you've heard of Rollers of the Realm, the Pinball RPG from ATLUS and Phantom Compass; and maybe you even know that it's going to be cross buy for PS4 and PS Vita for just $9.99.

But what I'm sure you're still unclear on is "how the heck will this game work?" Well, fortunately for you, we put together this handy little guide for the good folks at PlayStation.Blog.

First, the basics: Rollers of the Realm blends the physics-based gameplay of pinball with all your favorite RPG mechanics. And we're not joking, you have a whole party of characters that have unique abilities (in the form of pinballs, naturally).

For example, your Rogue - who can steal gold from villagers or deal backstab damage on foes - is the lightest pinball in your arsenal and can be used to squeeze through tight spaces to unlock hidden areas. She also can summon her canine companion, that acts as a multiball to really clear out enemies quickly.

In contrast, there is the larger, heavier, drunken Knight who is less... accurate, but can smash through boxes or other barriers to...

Atlus Announces Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is Out Today on PS3

8w ago - Atlus PR Manager John Hardin announced that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is out today on PS3 with details below, to quote:

[Register or Login to view links] is the sequel to the fighting game spin-off of the Persona franchise, Persona 4 Arena, but it's so, so much more than just an update.

Characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4 are thrust into a fighting tournament, which continues the story after the conclusion of the RPG Persona 4.

This story is canon for the Persona franchise, and takes place almost immediately after the conclusion of P4A, which itself is just a few weeks after the end of Persona 4.

P4AU picks up where the original Arena game left off, with six new players joining the P-1 Climax tournament. The new characters include Persona 3 and 4 favorites Junpei, Rise, Yukari, and Ken & Koromaru, along with series newcomers Sho Minazuki and Sho Minazuki (it's confusing, I know.. But the story explains it).

There are also three DLC characters: Adachi, Marie, and Margaret - Adachi even has his own story! Story mode is also retooled to be more streamlined for the two major arcs (P3 and P4 story). Plus, in addition to the Adachi story DLC, we're offering the original story as DLC too.

Atlus Announces Abyss Odyssey PS3 is Out Today on PlayStation 3

50°
19w ago - Atlus PR Manager John Hardin announced that Abyss Odyssey PS3 is officially out today on PlayStation 3 with details below.

To quote: ACE Team and ATLUS are back again with the procedurally generated adventure game with fighting game elements (EVO shoutout!), available today on PlayStation Store.

The look of the game all draws from an incredible combination of Art Nouveau and Chilean folklore, which is where many of the awesome enemies come from.

Speaking of awesome enemies, most of them have full movesets - meaning that every time you face an enemy, your combat strategy might change. And you'll have to be mindful of that, since the three main characters, Katrien, Ghost Monk, and Pincoya, will have to earn their skills through combat.

These skills can only be changed at certain points in the procedurally created abyss, so there's plenty of strategy to work around.

Another strategy, and a personal favorite of mine, is capturing the souls of fallen enemies. Assuming your experience level is high enough (it doesn't reset if you die), you can use your ultra attack to capture the very soul of the enemy and then use it to take their form in combat.

Which actually is a viable strategy at higher experience levels, since it essentially provides you with...

Video: Atlus Announces Daylight PS4 is Out Today on PlayStation 4

50°
30w ago - Atlus PR Manager John Hardin announced that Daylight PS4 is officially out today on PlayStation 4!

Below are the details, to quote: "They moved the afflicted to this place where you stand. They thought it would protect and leave them to grow. Then came Corruption, Persecution... and Chaos." - Dr. Mercer

Dark corridors? Check. Creepy sounds of death and terror? Check. Ominous quote with heavy implication that you're probably somewhere you shouldn't be? Double check! Daylight, the new horror game from Zombie Studios (Blacklight Retribution) and ATLUS, launches today for PS4!

This procedurally generated, first-person survival-horror game (say that ten times fast) puts you in the shoes of Sarah Gwynn - a girl who mysteriously wakes up in the abandoned Mid Island Hospital. Exits throughout areas of the hospital are sealed off with rune inscribed doors that can only be opened with unique relics.

Each relic ties into the facility's dark past, but they will only appear once you've uncovered enough of Mid Island's sadistic history. Sounds easy enough, right? Oh yeah, just watch out for those evil, revenge-driven witches stalking your every move... Remember - light is your friend!

What...
