26w ago - Klei Co-Founder Jamie Cheng told PS4 fans at E3 2013 today Don't Starve is coming on PlayStation 4 with details and some video footage below.
To quote: Very recently, we decided to throw our lot into the PS4, and announced that Don't Starve is coming on the platform. If you haven't heard about Don't Starve, it's an uncompromising, wilderness survival game full of science and magic.
You play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. Living in a randomly generated world, Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape. Basically, you try not to die, but you will. A lot.
Don't Starve was created to bend the rules of engagement. How do we build a game that focuses entirely on creating intrinsically rewarding gameplay?
That is, rather than the game giving the player external (extrinsic) rewards, such as loot, levels, points and trophies, the fun part of the game is simply the experience and the challenge of playing it?
34w ago - Telltale Games Producer Adam Sarasohn announced today news of new characters including Brock Samson, Ash, Claptrap, GLaDOS, and more in Poker Night 2 alongside a video below.
To quote: You may be familiar with Telltale's episodic games like The Walking Dead or the recently announced series The Wolf Among Us, but I'm here today to discuss the latest game that we've been working on – Telltale Games' Poker Night 2.
We got some of the best characters from film, television and video games to sit down at our table to play a few hands of Hold 'Em and Omaha.
On top of that, the game is bursting with unlockable content: you can unlock new decks, chips and felts, which can cause the Inventory (the venue for the game's chicanery) to take on a whole new look. You'll even unlock items outside of the game.
But first, let's talk about the characters you'll be facing at the table. To your immediate left looms Brock Samson, the (former) bodyguard to the Venture Family from Adult Swim's Venture Bros. This guy just oozes cool, but don't think about stealing his chips, because he has a license to kill and he's not afraid to use it.
