45w ago - Today Senior Creative Director Dave Cravens at High Moon Studios has unveiled an exclusive new Metroplex PS3 trailer video for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron below.
To quote: Last time we were here, Tieg (a.k.a. Matt Tieger, Game Director) talked about the epic scale of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, embodied in our riveting story, variety of gameplay, monster bots, and the walking city known as Metroplex.
In this exclusive new trailer, you'll get to see Metroplex in action!
This is a treat for me personally, as I was a big Metroplex fan growing up. I recently visited my parents and even found my original Metroplex toy, which sadly looked like it had endured too many (mostly) imaginary battles, Minnesota winters and stress tests with fireworks.
Luckily, in Fall of Cybertron, the yellowing of aging plastic never comes into play. Instead, I get to control Metroplex through Optimus Prime, and make him do all the crazy stuff I used to imagine - like blowing away entire squadrons of Decepticons with an endless stream of rockets!
Toppling skyscrapers onto unsuspecting enemies (my sister's dolls)! Stomping on tanks and bad guys!
48w ago - Sony Brazil Blog Manager Fabio Santana has outlined Resident Evil 6 for PS3 in an interview today, which arrives on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system this October.
Below are the details from the interview, to quote: At E3 2012, Capcom offered a glimpse of the three different scenarios we'll be playing in Resident Evil 6.
Players could enjoy a co-op between Leon Kennedy and newcomer Helena Harper in classic survival-horror style in a Tall Oaks full of zombies, face a boss battle with Jake Muller (son of longtime series baddie Albert Wesker) and Sherry Birkin (aka the little girl from RE2), or battle across the rooftops of China with Chris Redfield and his partner Tony Ponce.
But the company also revealed a new feature behind closed doors: the Crossover system, an evolution of the dual-threaded Scenario mechanic from Resident Evil 2, this time not only intersecting the story of different characters but also bringing their gameplay together in four-player co-op situations.
To demonstrate Crossover, Capcom's developers played a scene where Leon and Helena meet with Jake and Sherry in China. En route via airplane, the US agents are attacked by a B.O.W. (that's Bio-Organic Weapon for the uninitiated) and crash. Wesker's son and his young partner are already on the ground...
71w ago - Leader inXile CEO Brian Fargo has announced today alongside a video trailer that Choplifter HD will be hitting PS3 on PSN Tuesday and includes zombies!
To quote: I really get a kick out of the fact that I am now considered an "indie" again after all these years.
I have been making games for nearly 30 years, having built a top-five PC publishing house called Interplay around such major franchises as The Bard's Tale, Wasteland, Baldur's Gate, Fallout, Descent and more.
In the early days, I developed games for other companies and moved up the food chain to become a publisher so that I could make games "my way."
And here I sit, again readying our first major release in Choplifter HD as a digital publisher and having created the game the way I wanted. Our company tagline at Interplay was "By Gamers. For Gamers" and it is those same values we used in creating Choplifter HD.
Choplifter was a very important game when it was originally released back in 1982 and achieved #1 status at the time. Dan Gorlin, the original creator, really understood the humanness of saving little people from tough situations.
It was a great action game for sure, but there was something about saving those little guys. And certainly...

To quote: For the last couple of months, we've been trying to cater to as many requests from the community as we can.
Lots of people asked for a trial, so we put a huge one together with hours of gameplay, for those people who still can't decide if Joe Danger is awesome or not. As of Tuesday, it's now available worldwide.
Yesterday we also released something we call the "People's Patch". It answers pretty much every piece of feedback we've had from the community.
