2d ago - NIS America Inc's Chris King announced that Mugen Souls officially hits PSN on Tuesday with details below.
To quote: Greetings, doods! I hope you've all been well! Chris King here, dropping by to let you know that our JRPG title, Mugen Souls, is set to release on PlayStation Network on Tuesday!
I'd like to briefly go over some of the game's awesome features and mechanics for those unfamiliar with the game, and will gladly answer any questions you might have for us! Let's get started!
The story contains all the over-the-top humor and zaniness you've come to expect from NISA. You'll enter a small galaxy in the universe containing seven worlds, shimmering in seven colors... These worlds exist and act independent of one another.
This has allowed them to develop and nurture rich, unique cultures. Then one day, a decree was sent out... "I'm gonna make everything in each of these worlds bow to me!" What a bold statement!
But by whom, you ask? None other than the multiple-personality-having, naively egotistical yet strangely adorable Chou-Chou! Your goal as Chou-Chou is to conquer the universe by uniting these seven worlds, and force everything and everyone to become your loyal peons! An undisputed God at her finest!
32w ago - NIS America Marketing Coordinator Ryan Phillips has posted up a fresh video trailer today announcing that Mugen Souls will be hitting the PlayStation 3 this coming Tuesday alongside an NIS America update below.
To quote: I'm dropping by today to briefly talk about our upcoming RPG title Mugen Souls, developed by Idea Factory and Compile Heart.
Mugen Souls is set to release next Tuesday, October 16th, so I'd like to go over a few of the game's awesome features and game mechanics. Afterwards, I'll recap a few of the announcements we made at Tokyo Game Show 2012 a few weeks back. Here we go!
Story-wise, in Mugen Souls you can expect the typical humor and zaniness you've come to expect from NIS America titles. You'll enter a small galaxy in the universe containing seven worlds, shimmering in seven colors... These worlds exist and act independent of one another.
This has allowed them to develop and nurture rich, unique cultures. One day, a decree was sent out... "I'm gonna make everything in each of these worlds bow to me!" This reckless statement came courtesy of the egotistical, yet strangely cute, "Chou-Chou."
151w ago - Today PR/Marketing Coordinator Nao Zook of NIS America, Inc has announced that Trinity Universe for PS3 releases tomorrow on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.
To quote: I'm back to remind you that Trinity Universe will be shipped for the PS3 tomorrow!
When there are two main characters with their own stories, it is usually the case that one gets more attention. Kanata (the male character) has been getting more attention, I believe. So today, I want to talk about something special for other main character, Rizelea!
If you start with Rizelea's story, you can utilize the Meteorite Workshop. Meteorites are cosmic stones and crystals that drift to the Netheruniverse. Well, they drift throughout space, so it isn't just for the Netheruniverse.
There are many different kinds and types of Meteorites, and you can strengthen your characters' parameters by equipping them. Expand upon their natural strengths or compensate for their weaknesses -- it's up to you.
Equipping Meteorites on your Planetary Rings sometimes give you special effects, called Planetary Effects, such as regaining HP every battle turn, or nullifying certain elemental attacks -- don't underestimate Meteorites!
170w ago - Today European Product and Development Manager Allison Walter at NIS America has announced that PSP title "The Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman" will immediately be referred to as "What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?" due to an unintentional IP conflict.
To quote: I have a few bits of important news to announce!
The first is, Badman has decided to change his bad image, or at least his name. Let it be known: The Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman series will immediately be referred to as What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? The original title had a conflict of interest with an existing IP and it was not NIS America's intention to create any conflict.
This new title is intended to better represent the game's whacky retro dungeon world and connect the player's awareness with the overall theme of the game. Phil, give us a drumroll to introduce the new game cover...
Due to the name change the game, Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman!: What did I do to deserve this? will be temporarily unavailable from the PlayStation Store. The game will return as soon as the new name process has been completed.
The second bit of news is that What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 will be released...
173w ago - NIS America's Product and Development Manager for Europe Allison Walter has shared a video today which offers a look at Disgaea 2 for PS3 along with details on how to snag some NIS America prizes!
To quote: You might believe that Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is just another re-release of a fantastic game, but what some of you might not know is that NIS has improved on the fantastic part.
The programmers and designers got together to create some goodies to render the game play even more interesting and the story hilarious: 4 new chapters, Axel, a new main character, Magichange, and a ton of cameos from your beloved Disgaea cast of suspects.
The most important addition is the 4 new chapters featuring Axel, the has-been pop star with a crushing family responsibility. Pining to be at the top once more with hordes of screaming fans anxious to get a piece of him, Axel stumbles upon an opportunity to take part in a superhero show popular among kids. He sees himself already at the top only to... well, you'll be able to find out what destiny has in mind for him when you play the game.
Next lovely addition: Disgaea 2 has Magichange, the newfangled weapon system from Disgaea 3. This tricky little system enables monster allies to transform into a weapon. What's even trickier is...
