28w ago - BitComposer Games PR Manager Daniel Kraub posted up a new video announcing that Air Conflicts: Vietnam is out now for PlayStation 3.

To quote: Hi guys! My name is Daniel Kraub from bitComposer Games and over the past 10 months we've been working together with Peter Nagy and his team from GamesFarm on Air Conflicts: Vietnam, the third title of the Air Conflicts series.

After taking the series to Europe and the Pacific, we're now transporting the player to a completely new and underrepresented scenario. Besides, we have to admit that as Kilgore said in Apocalypse Now - we love the smell of the napalm in the morning...

So, what is Air Conflicts: Vietnam all about?

Get into your jet or helicopter and witness the Vietnam War through eyes of our main character Joe Thompson. Fly over jungles, mountains and lowlands in a huge array of different aircraft from the Vietnam era, both fixed wing and helicopters.

Experience the story of Joe as a pilot - leader of a squadron of men with varied talents and traits, all of whom you control - and of Joe as a family man - a son, a husband, a father; a moral man who comes to question his patriotism and sense of duty as the horrors of the Vietnam War unfold.

It may be an Arcade experience at heart but we keep it real...

36w ago - 2K Marin Lead Systems Designer James Clarendon detailed the RPG influences of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified on PS3 to fans today.

To quote: Hi there! This is James Clarendon, Lead Systems Designer on The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. For those of you who want to get a head start on how to build and maintain your roster of agents, I'm here to provide some insight into how these systems work, and how you can maximize your strategies in the field.

As field agent William Carter, you take the role of squad commander, making important choices as to how you and your agents progress in their careers and achieve certain victory. Bringing low-ranking agents into a mission can easily spell disaster, so you've got to take the time to invest in and develop each squad member for the challenges ahead.

First, the basics: you can keep a roster of eight agents, and two of these will join you in the field to form your squad. There are four classes in The Bureau, each with unique capabilities:

• Commando - hits hard and uses direct abilities.
• Engineer - deploys traps; the lynchpin of tactical combat.
• Recon - eagle-eyed marksman best used at long range.
• Support - bolster's the squad's abilities and hampers enemies.

Each of these agents is hand-crafted...

53w ago - BitComposer Games PR Manager Daniel Kraub shared a video today announcing that Air Conflicts: Vietnam takes flight on PS3 later this year.

Below are the details, to quote: I'd like to introduce you to Air Conflicts: Vietnam - the latest addition to our Air Conflicts line, due for release in the third quarter of 2013 for PlayStation 3.

Breaking away from the World War theme, our upcoming game turns to Vietnam where we feel there is huge potential for a whole new air combat experience.

Vietnam brings a new perspective and fresh impetus to the series, introducing legendary jet planes such as the F-4 Phantom and the infamous B-52, along with the thrill of supersonic dog-fighting, heat-seeking missiles, carpet bombing, and laser-guided munitions.

In addition to the new supersonic flight capability, we resurrect the iconic helicopters of the era - the immortal UH-1 Huey, the brutal AH-1 Cobra, and even the steadfast CH-47 Chinook and CH-53 Sea Stallion for transport and rescue operations.

Air Conflicts: Vietnam is unparalleled by any other flight game on the market, offering a strikingly diverse range of mission objectives, entirely new easy-to-handle control mechanics designed for supersonic aircraft and helicopters, and breathtaking visuals to immerse the...

80w ago - The Game Atelier Lead Designer Dr Lakav has shared a fresh video trailer today announcing that SunFlowers will shine on PlayStation Vita this coming Tuesday for $3.99.

To quote: Good news, everyone: we have an official date for SunFlowers - next Tuesday, October 9th for $3.99!

SunFlowers is a brand new puzzle-shooter game for PS Vita, including two unique worlds: Classic and Tropical. Each world has more than 160 flowers to collect.

Now let's take a closer look at the second world from SunFlowers: Tropical. In this world you will discover new varieties of flowers, including pirate-themed blossoms, but every flower is still based on a real existing species.

When you play on this tropical island, you will quickly discover that the climate is very different from the Classic world, and the weather can be unpredictable. From the tropical rain flooding your flowers to the big sand dune that dries them out, you will need to be very careful if you want to keep them all alive.

There is even a dusk stage where every cloud and flower is backlit, so you'll need to hold your PS Vita close to a light source if you want to clearly see what is happening.

See you on Tuesday for the release...
