15h ago - Sony Associate Producer Victor Harris announced that Jak and Daxter Collection is out today on PS Vita.
Below are the details, to quote: Today Jak and Daxter Collection launches on PS Vita. Now, over a decade since the Jak and Daxter series originally premiered on PS2, we are so proud to see the legacy of Naughty Dog's work brought together for players to enjoy - no matter where their adventures take them.
Jak and Daxter Collection brings three of your favorite Jak & Daxter adventures - Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3 - to life like never before. Mass Media has faithfully recreated the unique gameplay mechanics that you all know and love, and added touch screen support for a selection of mini games, so get ready to catch those fish and hunt down that eco.
Jak and Daxter Collection also features over 100 Trophies (including 3 Platinum) to unlock while you play through all three titles. These Trophy sets are separate from the PS3 version, so that means three more Platinum Trophies for you Trophy Hunters out there.

2d ago - Sony Social Media Manager Sid Shuman went hands-on at this year's E3 expo and shared feedback on the new DualShock 4 PS4 controller below!
To quote: Following its debut at PlayStation's February 20th event in New York City, DualShock 4 has emerged at E3 in near-final form.
Though DualShock 3 has proven to be a capable and dependable wireless controller for years with PlayStation 3, the PS4's new weapon of choice is a clear improvement across the board. Here are some quick E3 2013 impressions.
For me, DualShock 4's most impactful new feature is a subtle but shockingly satisfying detail: A glossy cross-hatched texture that wraps around the larger handles.
This texture provides a snug, more comfortable grip on the device compared to DualShock 3's slipperier feel. This is one of those things you'll need to try for yourself to truly understand, but once you experience it there's no going back. It's a delight.
Then there are the redesigned and retuned analog sticks, which now boast a concave surface and slightly stiffer deadzone that makes it easier to maneuver the camera using small, precise movements. The surface is also more tactile, but not so much that it impedes your thumb's ability to glide around the inner rim as your make subtle adjustments to your aiming...
2d ago - Roll7 Creative Director John Ribbins shared a video today from E3 2013 debuting new footage of sidescrolling skate 'em up title OlliOlli for PS Vita below.
To quote: Hello! I'm John, the game designer at Roll7. You may have seen a few snippets about OlliOlli already but as we approach E3 we wanted to go into a bit more depth about the game and let you know where the idea came from.
So, I've had a skateboard since I was about five. In my teens I actually got quite good and was sponsored for a while by Route One. Even now I still like to do the odd kickflip or whatnot (although breaking an arm is much more of a worry than when I was a kid).
I've played and loved all the skateboarding games from 720 and California Games to the more recent Tony Hawk and Skate games, but for me there was always something missing in the newer titles that meant it wasn't quite the same as real skateboarding.... Skateboarding is hard.
While Hawk and Skate are awesome games, the thing that bothered me was that if you did a kickflip, you would always land it except for if you hit the floor while your trick animation was playing.
6d ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Nik Schmidt posted up a fresh Watch_Dogs PlayStation 4 walkthrough demo video from E3 2013 today for PS4 fans below!
To quote: In this most recent Watch_Dogs gameplay demo, we witnessed the wide variety of tools that Aiden has in his arsenal, all expressed through gameplay.
Whether it be by driving in a stealthily way to try and evade assailants, by assisting a friend in escaping a sticky situation, or by blacking out parts of the city to give him tactical advantage, we were able to see all the agency we'll have while exploring the great city of Chicago.
Now, we've seen how Aiden lends a helping hand to a friend, but who's helping him? Who's helping you, the player, when the odds seemed to have been tipped against you? That's where it becomes interesting.
There's yet another layer of connectivity that will be available to you in Watch_Dogs: Co-op on mobile devices. When you're calling for help, you are sending a request to friends who are connected to the Watch_Dogs universe through their mobile devices.
When that request is accepted, a co-op experience starts and the goal for the two players is to survive from the police by escaping their pursuit. This is just another way Watch_Dogs brings you the full, hyper-connected experience.
